You'll have to give me awesome framing deals if/when you get the job. I have a 'Walk the Line' poster that's in need of some frame loving.

There is a notable lack of ads by corporations that oppose the Olympics and world unity. How odd.
Well, defense contractors tend not to run many commercials anyway.
You in the SoCal area?
How unfortunate.
Orange County.
Nice. Assuming I get the job and you wanna make the drive I can probably hook you up.
w00t.
And if I can ever...um...record your band for normal price, I'll be more than happy.
y hallo thar
pretty lame
but NYC has been cool
the 'double-blind' element came from the fact that, for the purposes of [most] actions, you had to identify players by their number in the circle instead of their number. So, first, you had to identify where you were in the circle based on the abilities of various roles and the information in your daily PM about the two hands you are feeling. It was a game of controlling information flow -- if you were able to at all fixtures both convince people your facts were valid and that you had the 'hands on' for a double-cool, you could lynch the bad guys without ever using a special.
Of course, releasing that much information would also reveal your special powers and numbers to the bad guys, who would then pick you off. So, instead of one information network, you would need several, and they would always have to be slightly at odds with one another, bartering truths and untruths, and ...
it was about at that point I realized no human being could conceivably play the game, much less enjoy it. There were probably some decent concepts that could be turned into a new Phalla-esque game from it, but meh.
Oh man such an awesome thing happened to me in NYC two weeks ago. I told [chat] about it already.

don't forget NJ, the best place to sit and watch the olympics ever.
I don't have a band....
YET
You could always pull a Foo Fighters; record the first album by yourself and then recruit members after the fact.
But but...
I am skilled in but what instrument and can't sing! And skilled is being very generous.
I am so very down good sir.
fixed
You're my hero, Zimmy. I stole my cousin's big LEGO kit that he was supposed to get for his birthday. I got his ass a supersoaker instead. I mean, it was the 11-13 kind, he was 8, he couldn't roll with it! He probably enjoys that water gun much more.
Battle.net
We don't need a drummer. We can rock that hard.
Uh, I am learning to play slap? Just started.
Seriously can you give me some pointers?
I was kind of worried that I was boring you but in all seriousness that was just magnificent. It was so soothing.
also I think I am staying in the city tonight is it possible to get a ride from the station tomorrow morning?
He's so dreeeeamy.
It is truly magnificent.
I'm sure you can get a 1/8th to 1/4th adapter and find a program online to record yourself with if you're up for the amateur route.
Edit: I have no idea how to play slap bass, but if we're lacking percussion that's the next best thing and it can produce some really interesting results. The only time I played bass was in a church praise band, and it was just chopping through the root, basically.
Yeah, money is a weee bit tight at the moment so that's probably what I'd do.
What software do I need?
