So I decide to turn my hunter into a fisher[strike]man[/strike]orc, and within the first few minutes of fishing I get this cowboy trying to block the view of my bobble, so I couldn't click it.
He left after a few minutes of me ignoring him and moving the camera to click. Some folks have all the time in the world..
So, something odd with the always % base mana change I just noticed...
On beta, I was looking through my spellbook, and...my older spells actually cost more mana. o_O
Rank 1 Fel Armor, 1135 mana, Rank 2, 836 mana
Rank 1-7 Corruption, 567 mana, Rank 8-9 418 mana
...and so forth.
Edit: Also, seems to be a property with other classes too.
I think it's because the mana cost of spells relative to base mana changed from 60-70, so they reduced the % cost of those ranks to better fit what they had before. Of course, it results in silliness like that.

It's not specifically at 60 though, since Fel Armor's mana cost varies too. It's like its at 64 or something. (Edit: oh, that's exactly what kaleedity said)
End on
I wish that someway, somehow, that I could save every one of us
There was a horde rogue that had just showed up to do it as well. So instead of him ganking me, I helped him kill it. Then he waited around and helped me kill it. We hugged and rode off in to the sunset together.
I did this once for some elite bird in the Badlands, by helping an Alliance hunter kill him after he failed 7 or so times.
After saving his ass and killing it, he promptly sicced his pet on me and violated me.
So.. using the RAF gift levels to jump my warrior from 30-59 (unfortunately not 60 apparently) is turning out to be not only a bit of work but kind of expensive. Already blown about 300 gold training skills, buying a ghetto mount, and getting a couple green, level-appropriate one handers.
I'm going to be the shittiest warrior ever. Like the ones on test realms when you get premade characters and nobody knows wtf they're doing. Except my gear is 30 levels of grey also. Sweet.

Suffer through the initial HFP quests and you'll have decent gear. I do mean suffer though, those quests are hard for a 60 warrior in decent gear to start.

If by backfired you mean I got 3 new 60s in less than a week of real time, yes.

Yeah. I'm going to go back and do EPL/WS quests to at least hit 60 duo'd with my RAF mage for the bonus exp. (Got 27.6k exp just for doing my warrior's berserker stance quest with my mage nearby since it stays yellow for some reason, heh.) Then I figure if that naked warrior guy can make it I can make it in shitty armor with decent outlands 1h weapons.
Dear God FightTest. Why didn't you tell me you have Alliance toons on Korgath. I think I've even grouped with Goatlegs before on my Warrior. We could farm some badges some time, my warrior tank and your shaman healer? Eh eh?

Further exacerbated by the fact that Warriors suck even when they have on-par greens. Outlands, for me, was excruciating on my warrior until maybe 68 or 69.
My recommendation is to go prot and level up in instances (if you have that many people on your server to support such a habit). I got 6 levels that way.
The down side is that yes, you will have to sugar daddy your warrior into a flying mount.
58-61 was horrible on my Warrior, untill I got my Grunt's Waraxes, they lasted me till 70.
I had an Obsidian Edged Blade and didn't quest much at all between 60 and 70. At 65 I had grown sick of the weapon I was using so switched to protection using the sword from honor hold honored and a shield. I spent the next five levels grinding for rep with Sporeggar, Aldor, killing ogres in nagrand and the occasional instance.
There's that mob in the Gorefiend trash that whirlwinds for like 30 seconds straight.
He hit me 4 times. I dodged the rest. I can see why Blizzard wants to change the hug amount of dodge.
Dodge streaks happen sometimes. I remember a screw up on Mother that left me the only tank standing. I dodged her lash four times, each one scarier then the last.
so this STUPID mage kept killing the aldor rep turn in guy in aldor rise in shat last night. I had just collected enough marks of sargeras to become exalted, so i'm obviously pissed. Anyway, a shammy shows up and heals the NPC so the guy can't kill it. He then proceeds to sheep it and laugh. he just chain sheeps it forever.
so i go to the scryer side and start beating up their rep turn in guy, and i get EXILED. teleported out of shat. movement and damage decreased by 20%. I fly back to aldor rise, because i assume a GM has gotten involved and done the same to the other guy....but no.
wtf. i can't attack the guy even though he is horde and i am alliance. it was a stupid night.

its even worse when its your own faction and you can tell him to stop and he continues with his douchbagery

The exiled debuff is just when a Scryer/Aldor guard catches you on their turf when they hate you. But how was he doing this? Was he standing on something that the guards can't get to?

the big open circle near the Aldor lift where the Sargeras mark turnin NPC stands has no guards anywhere to be seen, it is quite easy to kill him.

especially as a mage, as he's vulnerable not only to Frostbite and Frostbolt snare, but Frost Nova as well.
They really should make attacking a scryer/aldor npc make you flagged for everyone alligned with the opposing group. I'm exalted with Aldor, if some douche is attacking them why can't I leap to their defence?
Well my RAF gifted warrior hasn't been as terrible as I thought it would be. A couple level 58 outland green weapons off the AH, skilled them up and RAF'd out 59-60 in WPL, then made the jump. Only thing that's given me much trouble thus far is the stupid demon ledge where I had to bring in my rogue to clear out the trash so I could close the portal, but I have problems with that area on every character. Just too many tough mobs in a tiny space.
Aside from that it's been fairly smooth, though having the mage to ship me off with cinnamon buns has helped since I do have to eat after every couple mobs.
Just wanted to relate a super fun instancing experience from yesterday. Kind of long, potentially entertaining if you weren't there.
So a friend (resto shaman) and I (prot pally) decided this week that we were going to do the trials of the naaru over the weekend. After a two hour detour on Friday getting the cipher of damnation questline done (you cannot IMAGINE how effing annoying the felboar part is with a prot pally and a healer), we finally settled down Saturday morning to run some heroics.
We decide to start with heroic Steam Vaults. We hit the LFG channel and pick up a mage, then a MM hunter and his rogue buddy. Takes like 20 minutes to get everyone invited, whatever. We get to the stone to start summoning and the mage goes offline, doesn't come back. . I got another mage friend to replace the one who left. My shaman friend says he needs to afk for 5-10 minutes to swap out laundry, it ends up being about 20 minutes During this time, another friend asks me to come tank Kael on normal MgT because their tank bailed at the last minute. Since my shaman is afk, I figure what the hell. He comes back right as I leave to go do this, delaying the group another 10-15 minutes.
People were actually pretty cool about it. I do the Kael thing and come back, we get into the instance. I'm marking targets (Kill, second target, sheep, sap), but being pretty loose about it because I like multimob tanking. The first big pull (the one where mobs are hidden behind the pillar) I'm in the middle of marking targets when the hunter sends his pet sprinting into the mobs and pulls them. We survive, barely. After berating the hunter and telling him to let me mark targets and pull, we keep moving. I go to pull the mobs just inside the tunnel, and as we go to fight them the hunter's pet sprints after the water elemental patrol. Wipes everyone. Turns out, he had the thing on aggressive. /facepalm
After wiping again because my shaman friend went offline right after I pulled the bigger pack inside the tunnel, we finally have the tunnel clear. I mark the 4 pack way down the right wall and pull. I LoS them back inside the tunnel, and only 1 of the 2 mobs that should be coming to me follows. Why? Because the rogue and hunter decided to start stunlocking/beating the other mob outside the tunnel. Meanwhile the rogue is yelling at me to pull the mobs back, when he was the jerkoff who wouldn't let me pull the things in the first place. The hunter is also b*tching to me about how he can trap things, even though I’m repeatedly telling him that's great, but if I want a trap I'll ask for one. He proceeds to trap things anyway, while all this is going on. Stellar. I mark up the 4 pack across the way, and pull them way back to the hill. The rogue stunlocks one of the mobs where it stands, the hunter sics his pet on the sheep target, and the pet and rogue aggro a pat. I booted both of them, as I'd had about as much stupidity as I could handle.
I got a warrior and rogue friend to come fill in for them, and then my shaman friend disappears for another 20 minutes to do laundry. Finally comes back, we summon everybody, set up to pull (by this point we've been setting up the group/doing the instance for about 1.5-2 hours, and have one pack left before the FIRST boss), and…my shaman friend suddenly has to bail due to GF aggro. I wanted to cry.
I took it as an omen and gave up on SV for that time. The warrior, mage, rogue (on his resto shaman), and a pug warlock went and ran the heroic daily SH without incident.
Oh, and then I raided ZA and died 17+ times for a 64g repair bill. The end.

seems as though they figure something about the base mana pool changes somewhere around level 64.

Because they were reduced to being a bar band there and the bar in BRD at 20.00 realm
I think because they needed something to do there in shatt since other the pvp most people hang out in the banks or in front of them
