The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
I reformatted my laptop a few weeks ago. It's running XP, which it always has. I ran all the windows and driver updates but I have a weird problem. It's more annoying than it is a problem.
Whenever I restart my computer it always starts back up in the "Windows XP" theme, even though I change it back to "Windows Classic" theme every time. And it always erases my background and replaces it with just a plain blue.
It's something I can deal with, but if there's a way to fix it that doesn't involve reformatting again, that would be cool.
try clearing that out of anything you don't absolutely need and it should fix
If you haven't done this before, the easiest way to do this is to press WinKey+R, type in msconfig and Enter. Head to the Startup tab and check for stuff you don't recognise. Find out about what you don't recognise, then turn it off.
