This is as good as you're going to get as yet. Main theater is probably going to be 4A+B. Raven and Wolfman are probably going to be 2A+B and 3A+B. Walrus is probably going to be 400. BYOC will likely be the 4C areas. Exhibition will be 4E+F. Serpent will be in the annex not on the maps. I could wager on other things based on last year, but it's all just so tedious. Figure it out day of like everybody else.
Hope the map in the PAX pamphlet is better this year... last year it was kinda confusing because it left the area where you actually got the maps... off the map. Didn't make sense until I matched it up against the "You are here" map in the building
Anyone looking at that map Turtle linked and trying to remember "whats what" from last year.
4A+4B was where the line was last year. 4C's combined were BYOC I think (you can see the little yellow hallway to the left that we had to go through to bypass it) 4E was the Expo Hall & 4F was the Main Theatre. I know they're planning on having the line inside again this year... but hopefully some of Turtle's projections are true and they use some of that huge space for the coolness since 4E+4F will be all expo hall this time.
I'd be cool if we took over the 6th floor space too... there's lots up there... but I think since we're double booked with that other convention that is unlikely. Maybe next year.
Even though I live in Seattle, I've never been to the Convention Center, so if, as stated above, you could make some detailed maps, with tips on how to avoid jackals and the like, that would be super
I can't do anything because I'm not privy to any advance information. All I can do is guess based on last year, and I wouldn't be surprised if PA Inc. has changed a least a few things from year to year.
Tabletop and one of the theaters are actually in the WCTC Annex located across the street on Pike St. I forget which theater, but it says in the letter that comes with your badge (not handy at work).
Well, it was the first time (I think) that PAX was at the Washington State Convention Center, so things were confusing. Hopefully, the whole mess of planning has been cleared up.

I already said it's Serpent. Doesn't anybody read my posts? :x:!!: ( :P )

Somehow I read the whole post, and that sentence didn't sink in. My bad.

I just have no idea why you are talking about snakes.

Assuming that you're serious, that's one of the names of the theaters mentioned in the official schedule.
Looking at the map it seems like the theater will be 2x the size of last years. In theory then, getting into the concerts should still be doable. But you never know.
All the theaters are exactly where they were last year. They just added one.
Wolfman is 307/308
Raven is 2AB
Walrus is 400
and
Serpent is in Pike
There was a bunch of rearranging since there is more space, and a bunch of re-planning based on experience from last year (i.e the staggered Sat Theater schedule) unfortunately the best advice so far has been "figure it out day of"

Concerts barely filled up the theater they had last year. It'll be fine. Not that I'm going to them again.

So my best guess is:
Wolfman 307
Raven 2AB
Main 4(I'm guessing 4a)
Serpent across pike street
Walrus 3ab
That would just ... make sense.
猿も木から落ちる
New Main Theater = 2 x Old Main Theater
but,
Current Pre-Regs > TOTAL ATTENDANCE FROM LAST YEAR
so I'm sorry, but I think your theory is going to be shot down.
I'm actually a little apprehensive about the seething mass of people this year.
Wolfman is 307/308
Raven is 2AB
Walrus is 400

Satellite theater isn't, and never has. I'm sure somebody's using it for something, I'm just not sure what it is.

Only 4a or 4b will be theater, the other will be the line room. (I just dont remember whichi s which at this time).
Theater is only a bit bigger than last year. But also so many more people....
