Anybody else here go? I had fun, though I'm sort of over the anime thing (make that seriously over it). I go to hang out with my friends, people-watch, and cosplay. We did a big Avatar group this time, and got recognized by congoers and normal people alike. It was pretty sweet.
Also got to meet Peter S. Beagle, author of The Last Unicorn, which was particularly awesome.
Anybody else there this weekend that I might've run into?

I hadn't actually been to Otakon since I was in high school; very different experience when you're on the other side of college, having a job, etc. Made me feel old, what with all the half-naked 14-year-olds running around, but a little cosplay (i.e. attention whoring) is good for the soul.
but possibly at the same time
