Haven't been around as much the last couple weeks, this is because I've been studying far too much.

Now I'm taking my board certification exam in seven hours.

10 hours of computer testing woooohoooo.

Apparently this single test will decide if I am a good or bad doctor.

    I took like 6 hours plus of computer testing for this gay ass safety training to do work in a nickel mine in Canada. I wanted the find the annoying ass narrator and kill him.

    Fuck the back woods canadian accent so hard.

    I've been taking CLEPS. Two hours in front of a computer instead of a three hour course is a pretty good deal. They aren't nearly as difficult as everyone seems to say. Everybody should take some.

    I'm in music and for one of my classes one of the kinds of test is only 6 minutes long. The class is called skills and they teach you how to read melodies and rhythms and dictate lots of stuff. The performance exams are the really short ones, but they're pretty intense.

    I'm taking the LSAT in october. You don't really study for it, but I'm going to take some practice tests to sharpen my logical reasoning.

    This test would almost certainly be better if it was like a horrible myspace test for doctors that determined their specialty.

    That would be great. Unfortunately specializing is based on either being a fucking know-it-all with perfect scores and lots of really boring research or sucking off the program directors for the specialty you are trying to get in.


    So the test sucked, but I think I probably may have passed. Found out I won't get results for three months->yippee! Going to watch women's gymnastics and read the Hellboy companion.

    I just took the Internal Medicine boards and I may do further training in Critical Care.

    Right now I am working, I'm a fully licensed Doctor who already completed residency.

    Board Certification is a certificate in specialty training. Basically, I need to pass it to keep my job more than 2 years and to have more job options.

    Wow I give people who are doctors a lot of credit. It was definitely not the route for me, which is why I ended up at mortuary school (too bad we still have board exams to pass). I hope you did well!
