i would but i don't think my firewall security thing that my work has me behind will allow me to go into the chat. It won't let me go to penny-arcade.com but i can go into the forums >.> so who knows... i'll give it a shot if someone would so kindly point me in the right direction ^_^

But yeah, it's pretty much all forums all the time, but people are pretty casual here at Tommy Bahama. I still get everything done the comes to me.
I probably could get away with IRC too, but that would just be unhealthy.

but the web.irc.org one worked... but when i connected to the server i was the only one there... and then when i tried irc.slashnet.org as the server it wouldn't connect ><

This is what's wrong with IRC users today. They think IRC should be GUI, but it's not. It's /server yo.
Am I the only one who notices that this specific forum has more veiwers than all the other forums combined. Not this thread, but the PAX Forum. I saw it had like 101 visitors a while back. It has at least 50 generally.

Right now I'm doing my '3 weeks a year' deal, so I'm doing lots of random stuff. Last week was weed-eating on Tues, then I sat at a reception desk Wed and Thurs (no one works Fridays here) and did nothing but browse the forum. Now I'm on a crew that is tearing up bushes and landscaping felt to replace them with rock beds. Hard, tiring work that keeps me from the forums. But, it's random every day and I have through next week so hopefully I'll be riding a desk out of the heat soon!
