You are a little scattered at 70- Some talents are bear some are cat.... Are you looking for PVP damage or pve ? tank or dps?

At 80 it makes sense as you can be about anything feral with your build. No pred instincts?

im dropping the infected wounds from my builds, myself...

Yeah I know I am. I'm mostly looking at it as a leveling spec so I don't feel the need for last stand or thick hide. I didn't take predatory instincts because it's only useful for cat. I figure I'll fill out the rest of the build on the way to 80 and deal with the loss of a few things. I can't decide about Imp. leader of the pack though. It's nice, but would last stand be better or what. Who knows...

ooooooo never thought of that. 3 pts vs 1. Control vs random. But the health goes away once Last Stand is over. That would give you 2 extra points should you go last stand.

    tough call, nice thinking...

Im going to blow a respec after the freeone tonight or within a week i know it.

Bigity- is that for bear or cat?

so my patch is downloading now and taking it's sweet ass time cause it's not up on any mirror sites I check so I've been looking at my talents. I figured out my spec for my 70 rogue in about 3-5 minutes then switched over to check my druid (still leveling at 36 right now) and realized I have no idea what's going on in the feral tree anymore. I'll probably start with basically what i had picking up omen of clarity from resto and then just working my way up the tree... I'm gonna lose my charge for a few levels cause of the move and I haven't read anything about it but what happened to feral faerie fire? does normal not break shapeshifting anymore? or is it just straight up gone?

lol, I feel like my rogue had so few changes then everything else i play i'm gonna have to relearn

Bear. I don't think I'll need Last Stand, but I want to try it out, etc etc. This also isn't what I'll do to level when the expansion comes.

    Shredding attacks over improved bash?

Also everything I've seen says for tanking Beserk is better than OOC thanks to OOC changes.

Yeah, with omen of clarity only proccing off white hits, it is fairly poor for bear. If you are looking a pure bear spec it isn't particularly necessary.

If I had two specs I'd do:
    Cat
Bear? given that the crit from predatory instincts works with bear.

Bear- does primal precision help you at all as a bear? A lil to hit buff at best?

Expertise is one of the best tanking stats you can get until it's capped. Not missing equals a ton of threat.

So I'm reading things while waiting for the patch and it seems that Glyph of Starfire really does add moonfire duration on every cast.

That's so fucking crazy. I mean.. ridiculous. One moonfire lasting an entire fight if you don't have much other shit to do. And even if you do have to move/cast other shit it still saves a ton of mana and increases DPS since you're not blowing GCDs so often.

Man it's crazy. I had a huge DPS increase just from the patch alone, nevermind with the moonfire/starfire glyphs. My DPS is going to nearly double.

I have a level 54 Druid, I logged him today and decide to pick his talents...I meant to put 5 points in Furor but had just started putting points in Feral. It branching out the Bear and Cat talents kind of confused me at first. So now all my points are in Feral and I don't regret it one bit.

I specced away from HT - my job is to manage spikes with HoTs and throw quick heals around with regrowth and the odd AoE, not launch slower massive heals - I'll leave that to the paladins.
