You know, I really wish Typhoon had a stronger knockback. It's a fun spell to use, but 5 yard knockback aint much. Atleast give it to us in Glyph form in the future, Blizz.
I dunno, as a tank I'm starting to hate the druid and shaman knockback spells. It's ok if they are melee, but it really sucks when it's a caster you finally got next to, and then it gets knocked back out of range and starts casting again, and now you have to move the other 4 mobs again.

YES...OH GOD YES IT CRITS!!! Sorry...just a bit exicted. I actually gain mana casting Hurricane. IT REGENS MY MANA. *cries happy tears of moonkin joy* I ran Kara last night, did a sustained 989dps and never went below 10k mana except when ressing/buffing. Thats right, 12k mana to start and even the prince/nightbane fight didn't dip me below 10k. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Edit: beat'd, but still...im not even going to take the resto mana regen talents at this point as I level, will probably take the points out of improved moonfire since i use it oh....once or twice a boss fight...and get me some even sexier AoE lovings
Man, it's so hard to use Elitist Jerks for anything right now. So much of their feral druid theory crafting is occurring with the stupid 2t6 or 4t6 set bonus for mangle (I forget which) which makes it absolutely useless for anyone without that.
I'm thinking this will be my 70 build. Mostly for tanking 5-mans or soloing I'd say. I don't expect to be doing any real raiding. What do you guys think?
I am really going to miss Imp. leader of the pack. I hate that you basically can't take it now because there are so many talents that increase your dps or tanking that seem necessary.
I would consider getting beserk. Swipe is pretty good for AOE tanking, but when you pop beserk with 3 mobs on you they wont ever get pulled off, ever(unless you run out of rage). It can also be helpful when leveling if you get in a jam. I would also suggest King of the Jungle for the improved damage and the extra energy in cat. +60 energy helps alot. I wouldn't get Primal Precision till later on, when expertise matters more. Imp leader of the pack helps alot for solo, and protector of the pack is good for groups as well.
This is all just opinion though from my own experiences.
Heres the build I came up with: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-talents.xml?r=Gul%27dan&n=Rootdown
Ive done dailies and some leatherfarming, its not so bad, but I can just pick that up at level 71 when the expansion comes out. Beserk reducing energy costs by 50% helps a good deal, and bearform isnt doing bad damage either, especially if you lacerate/enrage/beserk

Berserk is the ultimate "Fuck you, Warlock" skill.
I just noticed they added a small 100 damage component to feral fairy fire, its pretty nice to break saps and stuff now without having to shift out
Edit: Also, in this av I just crit a warlock for 3800 with my ferocious bite. Im in quest greens and blues and a couple kara epics. Life is sweet :P

I'm having difficulty deciding how to hotkey everything for my different forms (first-time druid, level 26). I want mostly everything in the same place on all my forms' main action bars like healing spells, but other than that I think I just need to macro some stuff together, like enrage and tiger's fury.
His name is Uddas and he is a beautiful, supple Tauren. I have reached level 18 and am wondering; what should I focus on for a fabulous solo build (am going with Feral but don't really have many specifics right now), and where the shit am I supposed to use this God damn bauble for my sea lion form?

Drop natural reaction for protector of the pack, I would be surprised if you had rage issues, especially if you are rolling with OoC. Plus, that much DR is significantly better than dodge while tanking a 5 man.

This is what I ended up with. I figured I'd want the 20 energy more than 4% less damage considering I'm just doing 5-mans. I'll pick up Omen of Clarity at 71 and the last point in Protector of the Pack at 72.

So, balance is awesome now. I respecced to try it, threw on my healing gear which is now spellpower gear but without hit or crit so is actually kind of crappy, and then went to town on a training dummy. I was easily doing 100-150 more dps than I was in catform with my T4-level feral gear.
I personally like it having done both 10 m ans and BT/Hyjal with it. Saved me a couple of times so far. It will be even better when it goes to the version on Blizz internal servers that is off the GCD.
Personally the change that has made me the happiest is going from 1 1/2 oh shit buttons(BoT and Old Frenzied Regen), to having 4 1/2 now(NS, Barkskin, FR, BoT and lol Lifeblood).
Swift Flight Form. Thanks to my tankadin buddy staying up waaaay past his bedtime (his wife is going to want to kill me, I'm certain), I notched this one off my list.
Even though I was pretty surprised they would put something so crazy in, I'm still disappointed that they're nerfing the glyph of starfire.

Warlocks and Priests get a "cast this spell and your DoT is refreshed" talent, but they're 3 and 5 pointer talents deep in Affliction and Shadow trees. I guess they thought that a single glyph doing the same thing was a little too much.
I like it but a glyph that buffs it a bit would be welcome.
Maybe up your healing taken while it's on, like the Frenzied Regen one?
I dunno, I tend to use them in conjunstion atm to get the extra kick out of the % based healing of Frenzied Regen so a glyph of NS would be redundant imo.
re: Healing nerfs, I haven't seen a dropoff in healing at all with the lifebloom nerf. Truids remain the most fun healing class in the game, IMO. FYI I did spec full HoTs though, taking the 5 points in balance and avoiding the HT talents until LK, so I guess if you aren't fully specced for it the HoT nerf can be more pronounced.

It also means better initial aggro, so you don't faerie fire something, then lose aggro to the healer or lock or something. I likes it.
The harder the rain, honey, the sweeter the sun.
Did the bear version always have the threat effect, or is that new?
Yay!

I got the Bauble, but it says that I have to use it at... what was it... Darkmist Peak or something?

Shrine of Romelous(spelling?) in Moonglade. Darkmist Peak sounds like the poison quest in the barrens.
The shrine is near the road to the west that travels north to moonglade. I think you can see it from the road but it's been a while.
