Will KoK's Steve Wiebe attend PAX?

I was thinking a showing of King of Kong at PAX with Steve Wiebe in attendance would totally rule. As I recall from the movie, he lives in the Seattle area. Does anyone know if he is going to PAX?

He lives in Redmond. I suggested they try and get him in the classic game room they are running, with a DK cabinet and a camera, to attempt the record again. It would definitely be an amazing PAX moment if he finally took it from Billy "The Bitch" Mitchell at PAX.

We'll probably show the movie, I heard somewhere through the (thoroughly and completely unofficial) grapevine that he was invited. But, since nothing has been mentioned, I doubt he'll be there short of DK being the final omegathon event or something.

TrainweckX, I haven't followed the professional Donkey Kong community much (at all), but at the end of King of Kong it was shown that Steve Wiebe beat Mitchell's record. I'm assuming Mitchell took the top spot again?

Anyhow, I'd love to meet the guy, whether he's next to a DK cabinet or not. By far the best documentary I've seen.

I do hope he is coming. I liked the documentry too although it appeared to be an excercise in character assasination throughout most of it :P

It was the perfect example of manipulation to create a more dramatized narrative.

    Entertaining as hell, though.

Yeah, Billy took it back not too long after the movie was done. The scores are even higher now, but Steve's isn't too far off if I recall. *checks*

Man Twin Galaxies a slow-ass site. Anyway, you can see their current scores are quite close to each other.
