The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
All of Secret Invasion #5. Also the ending to Fantastic Four which had
Galactus being used a giant battery for the evil Defenders. I'll wait and see how this story plays out before I start bitching about how the fuck anyone could imprison Galactus, minus what happened in Annihilation #1.
Uh let's see, ASM treated the ending like it was a twist and not something that you could've called from the beginning
GLC was decent, nice lead in to the new arc
And Angel did a nice job of leaving you with a "holy shit" cliffhanger like it has pretty much every issue except for the First Night stories
Wait, the emerald empress (emperor?) has connection the the Lanterns?
I don't know who that is
Jkyle, you're not missing much
I mean there's a nice twist in there, and it's a decent way to end his 5 year run but it's just missing something
Overall, the same solid level of semi-mindless fun and explosions, but
doesn't having Reed invent a Skrull reveal-o-ray in the first five minutes he tries basically negate the entire point of the last however many months of plot build up?

He figured out how to break it right before they blew up the Baxter building.

If you remember, he actually figured out how to detect skrulls back in the first issue, but Skrull Hank took him out the moment he did.
Millar finally has me by the balls on this book, seriously that is the biggest holy shit moment I've had in a comic all year.
Bale I'm reading half of his "one man event" but that's not part of it
Spoilers?
The Hooded Man's gang, in addition to capturing both Doom and Human Torch, are using an incapacitated Galactus as the battery for whatever they are building

Wait, Fantastic Four ties into 1985 and all of that?
somebody want to give me the highlights of GLC 27? won't get my book until next week.
Guy and Kyle open thier bar, they bond, Guy is still in looooooooove with Ice.
Bzzd is laid to rest with other heroes of the core, a new GL who can speak with the dead is introduced.
Mongul is alive
someone is hunting down the families of GL members and slaughtering them

Guy and Kyle open New Warriors. Kyle goes to train the rookies
Meanwhile some dude is hunting down the families of Lanterns
Back on OA they're in the middle of training when there's a shower of eyeballs, belonging to the dead families
And there's some dude who can talk to the dead, and he's going to help Kyle and Natu track down the killer
Millar's event consists of FF, Old Man Logan, Kick-Ass, and 1985
Kick-Ass is the only one that I can't figure out how it's going to tie in yet
I can't figure out how any of them tie-in considering they're all in separate years and universes, but I'll be interested to see how it's done.
The big villain in FF, the Hooded Man, is Doom's mentor I think
He's also the one behind what's going on in 1985, if I remember right
And Old Man Logan is probably an alternate future, "what if the Hooded Man won"
The Hooded Man is most certainly the mysterious "President" of the Old Man Logan universe, but today's issue of FF is the first time he's actually appeared in any of the books.

Cornell is such a good fit for this comic.

Ah, sorry, got my terms mixed up.

I was laughing my ass off at that.
I like the new character, and I'm looking forward to seeing (hurr hurr) what role he's going to play from now on, and especially in Blackest Night
My shop didn't have Punisher #60.

Yes. The Emerald Eye of Ekron was a primitive version of what would become the power rings. (we learned this in 52)
However, that's not the eyes they are talking about in this issue.
My MOTW was picking up the first issue of Golly on a whim. It's great!
The harder the rain, honey, the sweeter the sun.

all i do know, however, is that my boy kyle better get him some red-alien pussy
they do some hardcore flirting in this issue
Nah this guy's alive
He just has a Sixth Sense thing going on
And she's showing off some major cleavage
Wait till they meet the Star Sapphire Corps aw yeah
