DVD Drive weird issues

Situation:

I have a burner that I put in an external Lian Li enclosure. Before, the drive worked fine. Now, in the enclosure, My Computer doesn't show discs when they're inserted and fails to prompt the drive properly. I can burn discs and it knows if there is a blank disc in the drive, but when a DVD is inserted (or any other disc) it shows a blank DVD drive icon and asks for me to insert a disc when I double click (or right-click open) the drive.

I haven't taken the drive out to plug it in to the motherboard, but I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts.

    Maybe trying uninstalling the driver it is using. Unhook and then replug it back in?

    Well, update. I tried the enclosure on an XP machine and it worked fine. Either my install of Vista is borked, or the Lian Li enclosure's USB driver isn't fully compatible with Vista
