My brother Glen passed away this morning after a brief, valiant battle with an aggressive cancer. He was 29 years old.
I am dumbstruck in attempting to pay appropriate tribute to him at this time. The words will come, but for now my mind is clouded with grief and a tremendous sense of loss. Glen was truly and genuinely a kind, decent, loving soul. He deserved more time. We deserved more of his gifts.
The photo is of Glen with his grandmother on his wedding day last year.
I encourage you to remember to live every day with love for those you care for. None of us know what awaits us tomorrow. Make today matter.
It's terrible that he was taken so young. You have my sincerest condolences.

I submitted an entry to Lego Ideas, and if 10,000 people support me, it'll be turned into an actual Lego set!If you'd like to see and support my submission, follow this link.
If the qualities that you describe your brother as having are true, then his life was not a wasted one. Even though he died young, you should appreciate the time that you did get to spend with him. I'm very sorry for your loss.
