Emperor Shaddam IV is on the throne of the Imperium, House Harkonnen sits on an unruly Arrakis, and House Ginaz barely escaped total annihilation at the hands of House Moritani, thanks to the intervention of the Atreides and the legendary House Troy...and this is their story.
Formerly the vanguard for the fallen Ixians, House Troy prided itself in its excellent military prowess until the Bene Tleilax brutally attacked and annihilated all of House Vernius. The Trojans saved who they could and fled the planet and turned mercenary, roaming the Imperium fighting for whomever paid them, while avoiding the ire of the Landsraad as they turned rogue.
Decades later, the Atreides, long-time allies to the fallen Ixians, offered the Trojans a home on Caladan, and a contract to save House Ginaz. After a bloody and long conflict, Ginaz was saved, the Grummans rebuked, and the Trojans finally settling back into the feudal system under a new master, the Red Duke.
But are these nomadic warriors ready to be enfiefed, stuck to a peaceful planet under a benevolent Lord?
