A storm came through last night and I had my 360 at a friends house. Little to my knowledge the dumb ass did not have a surge protector on his modems and frieds my 360 modem, and 3 computers....
My question is this. Is a wireless xbox 360 connection good to go with?
My next question is do usb wire to wire connectors work on 360?

The only option you might have is to buy the wireless adaptor for the XBOx (USB) and use it with a wireless router (or another computer which can share the internet connection wirelessly - but I dunno if the xbox supports peer - peer mode or infrastructure only). But if you have to buy router + WLAN kit for the XBox you might as well buy a new one.

If the USB slots are still working for other functions, like reading a pen drive, then I'd think they would still work with the USB Wifi adapter.
