So can you not network Vista and XP machines together? I really don't want to re-install WoW after I format.

I was just going to transfer the folder off, format, and transfer it back on. Though I suppose I'd have to run something to add the registry entries and whatnot.
But I also have music and other things that I want to transfer over. XP Desktop can see XP Laptop as well as itself. XP Laptop can only see itself, as can Vista Desktop. I'm not sure how to proceed, other than burning my files onto a DVD.

Yeah, you're going to have to do some magic with WoW to just transfer it over and try to run it. Is WoW's installer epically long or something? Do you have to do a 50 man raid just to get an update? Or whatever it is you kids do these days.

When it gets later into the game and there is a gigantic, metric shit tonne of posts, voting habits and logical progression going on it'd be nice if someone (or a few someones) didn't come in and fuck it all up every single game.
