Any news yet on when the EU CE beta will be? Will it be before the US headstart/US Launch/end of the year/Third coming of Christ (really, everyone is doing trilogys these days).
The last time I played it, it was just not good at anything. Your arrows felt like they were made out of spaghetti, because they did so little damage, and you died in just about 5 seconds flat if anything hostile came even close to you.
I hope they buffed the class hard, because it was not up to snuff with other ranged classes.

Incidentally, I read on here that so many people had gotten into the preview weekend despite thinking they registered too late, so I decided to go check my own account, and I'm in as well! This makes me way, way too excited and cancels a lot of the rage Mythic was generating... that and the fact they are lifting the NDA at last.
I downloaded the client last night and it started up right away, which surprised the heck out of me since File Planet usually makes me wait in long-assed queues. I guess for once I just got lucky. :P
That's not even the full Cinematic. Something like 2min were edited out.
The Marauder fights the Bright Wizard at some point, we know that.
The full version will be debuted (hopefully in English too) at Leipzig tomorrow.
But the Bright Wizard is clearly alive at the end (though clutching his chest as though wounded) while the Marauder is clearly killed by the shadow warrior. It must be a different Marauder if that's the case.

Hmmm when I check accounts.eamythic.com it still lists "WAR Preview" but I have received no email. Should I be worried? I would be pretty bummed if it turns out I won't really get a chance to play this weekend.

They're still kinda squishy. The pet control bar has some issues too. But none of it is really game breaking. They don't seem unbalanced to me.

Everyone I know who put in for the preview has gotten their email, so I guess I would be a little worried if you don't have it yet. But, they could be slowly processing the requests still.
I put the codes in on the first day Mythic 'opened' the ability to do so on their site... but unfortunately not until the evening of that day since they opened it just as I had left for work, the bastiches.
Those of you who've gotten the e-mail, did any of you put your code in after that first day or in the evening (US timezones)? I guess if I don't have my e-mail by tonight I'll start worrying.
Actually, "applied" doesn't mean anything any more. You could actually stop going to the Betacenter, as Mythic isn't using it any more. They are transitioning to the Account Management Center.
I do not believe they are inviting any more people to the Closed Beta, so the Applied status is fixed at this point.
The only possible thing is if the CE folks barred from the CB get in after the NDA dies. But that is rather improbable. Slim to the point of being two dimensional.

I saw people saying that but searching the site only brings up trailers or the direct2download link to buy the game.
God damn, that intro is godawesome. The only thing that could possibly make it even more awesome where if Malekith and Karl Franz had been duking it out in the sky, riding Deathclaw and Seraphon. And then Karl Franz had swooped down and bludgeoned that Lord of change back to the void Sigmar style.(because i still think the avatar of sigmar rule he had in 6th edition (and possibly 5th? didnt play back then) was super cool.)
Im really looking forward to the lifting of the NDA. Im going snap up all the information i can, because i feel that this is a game i just have to spoiler for myself, i still dont know if im going to go order or destruction, or what class im going to play.

If you account is flagged, then you are OK. As it is that flag that determines if you can log in for the PW or not. So I would not be worried.
Of course they're squishy. They're a ranged DPS, and a pet "caster" to boot.
And pet control has been a little flakey in every other game.
I played a DAoC Spiritmaster for like 3 years (Team Lead for almost the entire time) so I am more than aware of the failings of pet classes in MMOs.
So regardless of what anyone says, I'll be playing one at Release.

destruction did invade, but we did see the BW torch several orcs with his breath, and a shadowwarrior annihilating a marauder.
I kind of wished they could have shown all the faction leaders though, not just mr.mutation
