Uhhh ok I'm confused. I just checked my Beta Account Center after seeing the new herald that said you can check there to see if you got in Preview Weekend. And, low and behold, it says "WAR Preview" there (I have an SE, so it wouldent be for sure to have preview weekened). I haven't got an email yet so I have to wonder what "WAR Preview" means (and I also wasn't able to sign up last week till about 3pm, a few hours after it started) So I have:

I'm hoping the Lord of Change entering Altdorf isn't the end. That Karl Franz swoops in on his Griffon and delivers a skull-splitting smackdown with Ghal-maraz.
Then the cinematic can end with Karl Franz and Tcharzanek swinging sword and hammer at eachother.

Not crushed. The MoC cinematic ends there. It's entirely possible (and likely to be honest) that the power of Sigmar repels the daemon.

Not stepped on. If you watch, you can see that the bloodthirster's knee hit the SW and knocks him down. He's probably not even dead.

Mark Jacobs himself hinted that maybe all 50k invites for the preview were not even used up in the first few hours. It means you are in this Friday, no worries.

It would be nice if Tcharzanek and Franz could settle their differences with their words, instead of resorting to violence. I propose they meet at Oktoberfest and share some bratwurst.
This makes me unbelievably happy. Mythic has just made my would-have-been crappy day. Can't wait to come home and figure out the beta client though... Tried it yesterday on file planet, and it just kept telling me that it wasn't available or something. I'll try now that its the 19th.
Edit: Err wow. Yesterday whenever I clicked to check availability, it said to wait 50 minutes to refresh, and that the est. "arival date" (wtf its a download, do they regulate the number of people they let DL or something?) was today, and now it says tomorrow....

Nope, thats it. Just refresh every few minutes and you'll get it.
The 2nd Cinematic is indeed teh awsome, but before rumors of a "five minute version" fly out of control, the longer cut lasts 4 minutes 30 seconds, including end titles. The European version is only slightly shorter because they had to remove the more intense violence to conform to the European version of our Teen rating.
So yes, you will see some new stuff when the North American version drops, but it's not dramatically longer.
So I played LOTRO at the weekend. My expectations for WAR have actually raised, I enjoyed LOTRO a lot.
LOTRO is a great game for a little while. They really did a fantastic job with the epic quests, the world design, and bringing the world to life. But it lacks a few things like no real pvp (monsterplay doesn't cut it). I also found the game slowed down considerably after level 20. I also wasn't a huge fan of most of the game's classes, which is something that WAR has in spades - chances are, there's a class in WAR that will suit your playstyle.

There was a wicked squig herder scene in the cinematic. That was awesome.
