    the second renaissance is not only depressing as hell, but also helps you realize either there are layers or some shit to this whole reality thing they're doing

    because nukes would've destroyed the machines with that emp shit

    that they later use in the films themselves as a main means of fighting the robots

    The second one had potential right up until the Architect.

    And the third had a chance to redeem itself right up untilt that retarded kid opened his mouth and the final fight ending sealed the deal. Not to mention the whole I made a sunrise for Neo bullshit.

    I never really got into these movies. I didn't see the first one until 2003, which I think was quite a while after it had come out. I thought it was okay, but overrated, though that was probably because I kept hearing how amazing it was.

    Still haven't seen the other two, but I hear I'm not missing much. Animatrix always sounded interesting, I think I caught part of it on Adult Swim once.
