how old is she? not bad on the costume...i like the color choice....i wish mine was as vibrant. how long did it take you to sew it? it too me like a week and a half since i hadn't sewed in like a million years!
The main skirt was a little darker than the one in the game, but it was the closest the fabric store had.
I sew on and off, but I have to fix things a lot sometimes.... This costume has taken me about a week to put together. Mary (our Anne-Claire model), is 18 years old, but she looks a lot younger and shorter than most...which really works out for the costume!
On a side note... I love that cotton is easy to sew, but it wrinkles so easy! I'll have to iron this good before we go to PAX!

i also made my costume out of cotton...so nice to sew with but so lightweight and wrinkly...if i had the money i would have done a thicker material
Yeah, exactly. I would have done the same thing. But anything nice these days seems to cost like $8 a yard and I'm like...uuuh... no.. I'd like to eat this week.
I just put some finishing touches on my costume a few minutes ago, a small detail, that I think will add to the completeness.
Also, I am picking up the killer combo mixture of insanely strong hair gel and spray that should give my hair a more Tycho-esque look. I don't think I can make it perfectly like his, but I can get it to look pretty similar.
So, I'm not costuming for this, but I'd really like to see what you guys came up with. There was mention of doing a gather/photo shoot kind of thing, is that going to happen?
so who wants to spearhead the photo/meeting? this is my first time to the new pax arena so i couldn't say where to meet....the cosplay thread would like to know because a few of them are gonna be self-appointed photographers and would like to have a picture of us in one spot so the sooner i know the sooner i can fill that thread in...
I've officially decided to screw authenticity and go as a female Tycho. There's really no way I'm going to be able to compete with a male Tycho as a girl trying to be a male Tycho :P So I've opted to change my costume a bit to include knee high heeled boots instead of the socks and brown shoes.
This is partly cause I don't own any brown shoes.
But, hopefully, I can rock it in my own way. I will have pictures of the Tycho costume shortly...and possibly Gabe if I can get Adam to humor me long enough for pictures.
Anyone else feel like sharing yet? It's the day before PAX, no way anyone can copy anything at this point!
