The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
Also Ghost Rider. We're getting closer to the showdown between the Riders and it's gonna be so damn good
EDIT: Punisher looks like it's going to maintain its level of quality with the new writer
It's less FUCK KILL DIE than some of Ennis' stuff, especially Mother Russia or Kitchen Irish
This is more of a crime thriller that happens to star our good friend Frank
Yes I know that the writers are crime novelists, it's why I'm hoping they get Huston on board after the third arc
But I actually like this a lot more than the FUCK KILL DIE stories
The last TPB I bought of the Punisher was the second Barracuda arc. And it went from decent looking art in the first issue to shit in the following issues. Some of the Itchy and Scratchy like assaults from Frank on Barracuda ended up as red scribbles. It looked like something an unbalanced six year old would draw on a picture of his teacher.
also, i got some previews for next week, and IIF is looking much better than the last issue, Skaar is finally making some progress, USM is actually deviating from the game in a nice way, and Old Man Logan was fantastic and has a great twist on the last few pages
Amazing Spider-Man was great if you don't like good story-telling and think that JR Jr is a wonderful artist. Otherwise I think it's time for Marvel to send Venom and the rest of the symbiotes back to the 90s where they belong.
Seriously "less Venom" in an issue without him was a dumb complaint
Seeing as Eddie's not Venom anymore, for one thing
I have a theory about him being Anti-Venom though
And I doubt it's a symbiote

Why am I not collecting Superman/Batman again?
Oh yeah. I'm a goddamn moron.
Descendant X on
Garry: I know you gentlemen have been through a lot, but when you find the time I'd rather not spend the rest of the winter TIED TO THIS FUCKING COUCH!
My moment of the week was reading through Transmetropolitan in 2 nights.
The ending was perfect
I was all set to be sad and see him kill him self like Hunter S Thompson, then holy shit! 1% indeed.
the eerie thing is that the ending of Transmet predates Hunter's suicide by a few years. it's rather uncanny how Ellis was able to channel Thompson into Spider.
Was Robin this week a RIP crossover? I forgot to look at it. I don't regularly collect Robin but I got the previous two issues simply for the RIP Tie-in. And actually I was quite pleased with both of those purchases.
As for my motw, I only had 4 books yesterday: Captain America, Uncanny X-Men, JLA, and Batman and the Outsiders. I haven't read my DC books yet, but as always, Captain America was freakin' good. I'm sure it will be my favorite for the week after I've finished my DC books.

Can't fathom how that may have happened.
But I actually like this a lot more than the FUCK KILL DIE stories
X-Factor Presents Layla Miller was also awesome this week.
Pretty sure it's changing when the writer changes in a few months
uh yeah, probably
Who am I?
This issue was a lot of backstory
It was goddamn amazing

The
Fuck
This wasn't even about Venom, except in that Eddie Brock was in it, and the back-up was about his life after losing the symbiote
we all know dan slott and jrjr are hacks. might as well never give them work again.
All they had to do this week was introduce the various plots that are gonna be going on
They did that
Seeing as Eddie's not Venom anymore, for one thing
I have a theory about him being Anti-Venom though
And I doubt it's a symbiote
for like 3 pages
but the man is considered by most to be one of the greatest Spider-Man artists of all time
Cumulative
If you count the panels where Eddie saw him in the back-up
The ending was perfect
Also Atomic Robo
Hercules is such an awesome book
What?!
Flash #243, Wally has to save his kids from the aging:
So he takes them into the speed force and does his best
The issue ends with this awesome corny thing where Wally says he loves to run... I loved that part
I don't understand why you thought it was so amazing. Nothing even happened until the last page of the main story and that itself was kind of meh.

He's the goshdarn Batman
The Milleresque face on that page makes it even better
Oh yeah. I'm a goddamn moron.

Kinda thought Two-Face would just have a bad case of acne, though.

So damn cute
Popular theory is it's a pie or ice cream on his face.
