When I went to PAX in Bellevue I discovered this time honored American Tradition at our Hotel's Bar. It was like $1 for a beer and $1.50 for a Highball. Being Canadian and a Bartender up here, I was amazed at this Tradition, but last year our hotel just had a restaurant in it that did not up hold the Practice. Does anyone know of a place close to the Convention Center that has some good Happy Hour specials?
The Hilton had a decent happy hour last year. Drinks were something like $3.50, but they were poured heavy and used mid-shelf liquor (Beefeater for gin). I think their appetizers were also discounted, but we didn't try any.
If you ever in portland Oregon theres TONS of places with awesme happy hours.
But im interested in places that have good awesome happy hours. I might just head down to Red Robin for lunch while im there. No happy hour but its got bomb ass food
The Triple Door has the best happy hour in the downtown area. There isn't a huge selection of drinks, it is select mixed drinks and 2-3 types of beer, but it is the cheapest happy hour ever at $3/drink (for the good stuff). They also have amazingly good appetizer-size food for $3-5.
There was some place that was in the bottom floor of the Red Lion.. I can not recall the name right now... but had two happy 'hours' a day with a whole pile of discounted appetizers. Was pretty darn good.
