A sort of anti-spoiler... I know what it *isn't*. =( But I'm not going to stay up to figure out what it *is* =)
It's not Jenny James (author of the first result of putting the clues on the image into a google search), that's for sure. Unless I did something wrong. Once that wasn't it, I decided to not continue guessing and instead sleep. =) Goodnight everyone! =)

    That second one is annoying.

I was reading a blog about another event these guys have thrown. The actors are good, it will take place in downtown, and there will be prizes if my source is correct.

I think this is basically to weed out the people who like to solve these problems to get instructions for the PAX event.

OH! I thought the format of the URL suggested that you had to use underscores! D'oh! =)

EDIT: Got it and part 2! Now that I know no underscores is the name of the game, I'm feeling better =) Though still not sleeping... oy. =)

After completing it, I'm not sure if I'm disappointed it didn't go farther or intrigued about what to expect when I get there. Maybe both.

Here's a quote from the material I found from one of these in New York:
You will track down clues, solve puzzles, and interrogate suspects. You’ll scour a city to find the answers. You’ll compete against other agents to solve the case first.

Our most resourceful and successful agents will earn rewards and accolades.

New agent recruitment will take place on the evening of Saturday, July 12th in New York City. If you think you have what it takes, click the button below.

I hate taking away from the mystery, but this group is smart enough to be able to google info at least as well as I can.

Yeah I wish there was time really to do something like this... but there is so much other stuff to do.

    Parabola and VThornheart:

The main training event is flexible and may be done at your leisure, at any time during PAX. Some "clues" must be discovered during expo hours, some you can carry with you, and some you can do on a computer in your hotel room or between "frag" sessions (as I am told they are called).

    Thank you for your interest.

I was driving some out-of-towner friends around, and I kept complaining about being blinded. They responded with "You see, where we come from, people tend to wear Sunglasses." I retorted with a simple "You people tend to have sun."
