Durbin for Majority leader. He's #2 in seniority and he's miles better than Reid.

Seriously. We need someone who will either fight the power (if McCain wins) or aggressively work the minority Republicans to get the votes we need (or avoid filibusters) (if Obama wins).

    Reid sucks ass.

Nov 6th this should become the base's top priority. The left grassroots needs to learn how important the legislative side of things is. The religious right understood that decades ago, and that's why the Pubs have been so successful in pushing their agenda regardless of the situation.

I like where Barack went with that point about Joe caring for his boys and treasuring his previous marriage that much.

Not only is it conveying his awesomeness, but "hey, wasn't there some other guy who threw his previous marriage in the trash?"

Yeah but right now there are 99,999 cops on the streets, so he's really just adding one.

He's not a foaming law & order nut. It was needed at the time, and it was the right move to meet the growing crime problem in the 90s.

That does look awesome, and I'm immensely tempted to apply, but I'm not sure I can take 5 weeks off my job. Or more accurately, if I want to quit my job and get a new one as a consultant after the election.

Biden is a huge hit with my mom. She doesn't have any negative feelings towards Obama she just adores McCain. After hearing Biden's biography she found her a new political figure to adore.

edit: He's got an excellent cadence to his speech. My only complaint is he's laying the "literally" on a few too many times, but really good so far.
