Alright, I've been neglecting FFXI for WAR, mostly because I've been writing a WAR addon the last week.
Anyone interested in setting up a time this week to level sync down to me and help me pick up my sub-job items in the dunes?

Cool, I will get you a pass and send it to you in a PM. When you make your character, choose Carbuncle as a server and type in the pass I give you. If I meet with you ingame you should get 15 chocobo passes, speeds the first levels before 20 up a small amount. Also, after certain periods of time we can both get some pretty cool stuff.

I like the idea, and I would be open to having a second shell, but aside from Zave I like everyone else. They have been really helpful.

I consider that bullshit.
That's pretty shitty actually. Especially in a game like FFXI where getting "just a couple more kills" could take hours if your group dissolves and you can't find a new one.

Edit to Clarify: I have had two extra linkshells in my inventory since time im-memorial. If were that simple we would have been long since using one of them. LostLegends gives us access to most of the game that we can't do ourselves, and make no mistake: We can't do most of the game ourselves. And once people stop playing (and several people have, obviously) we would quickly find ourselves in a situation where there are not enough LS members online at once to do anything over large swaths of the day.

Wow... look at the timing. That was me, but I've been pre-occupied with other things, sorry Bri. I'll be back... tried WAR and, while it was nice, I'm not going in for it whole hog, much too time consuming. I enjoyed the sedate pace of FFXI and will continue, but I'm waiting for things to calm down around here first.
