Big 5 recently had a sale on airsoft electric Thompson M1 subguns, regularly $250, marked down to $150. My mom thought my dad might like one as a present. I know I'd like him to have one so I can use it. lol
Where would be some good places to get an airsoft thompson subgun?
Big 5 always repeats the same sales every other week or so.

there was a site, I think it was redwolf airsoft which seemed to be a good place to get them. They're based in Vancouver so they can import the big name Japanese airsoft makers, they export to US too I think.

Where are you located?
If you think about importing, the major retailers are redwolfairsoft.com , wgcshop.com or uncompany.com
I have dealt with all three of them, and would recommend wgc the most. Unfortunately these retailers usually dont have any sales, and shipping from accross the globe costs quite a penny.
Make sure that Airsoft is legal wherever you are living.
Also, when you mention "using" it, I hope you dont mean running around with it in your backyard or neighborhood, because I will have to track you down, and kick your ass.
And remember to wear ANSI rated full seal goggles when playing.
Airsoftextreme.com is not that far from you, and they are one of the biggest retailers in US. On the East Coast you have Trinityairsoft.com , and I cant praise their service enough.
Update: I stopped in at Big 5 this weekend and checked their Thompson replicas out. It turns out they are made by the actual Thompson factory, which is Auto Ordnance, I would suppose. They weren't on sale at the time, but I asked the sales manager how often they do. He said about once every 3 weeks or so. The great thing is, he said he would be happy to give me the Thompson at the sales price anyway, so I wouldn't have to wait. Nice! So I picked one up! I took a look at it, but didn't open the inner wrapping (since it's not for me) but from what I can tell it looks really good.

You're joking right?
The stuff on there is low grade, and I don't even see a Thompson.
