Guys, this is the party I was talking about. Holey gave me some of the details the other day and it sounded awesome. Looking forward to seeing some of you guys there!
I may or may not host a small (like ten or fifteen people) party. Maybe. Depends on how many cool people I meet. And I say host, meaning offering a location. I can't go buy people booze, and I have no consoles, except my GameCube. ;_;

A word of caution to those planning parties: It's a BAD IDEA to publicize your party location and time on a public forum. It will explode beyond control, and checking for flyers won't necessarily keep strangers out of your room.

Hah no, it was actually a pretty large misdirection, since a bunch of people all got it from someone else, and were spreading the word themselves (thinking they were helping out by also passing on the word of a party). It spread quite a bit, kind of hilarious in hindsight. I passed several groups on the way back that had been told the same thing.

Even though I'd like to have a gathering (party, whateva) planned to go to after PAX each night I'm honestly just going to 1) see whats happenin' in my hotel and 2) simply ask around with people I chat with during the day as long as it deems appropriate in the conversation we are having (aka make friends). I don't recommend posting about parties here and if you are not the organizer of a party but are going to one, get permission before inviting others, mmkay? Hotel parties are not house parties and need to be regulated (regulatooooors!) otherwise they can very possibly die a quick death and the night will be ruined for all.
