Some more info on the games...

Prototype161

Investigative firm Prototype161 seeks creative, resourceful, and daring individuals to serve as agents in clandestine operations. PAX recruits will undergo specialized training in counter-espionage as they track down clues hidden throughout the expo and attempt to uncover a double agent within the firm. There are 3ways to get involved:

1.Stop by the Indiecade booth at any time to meet your handlers and get the first clue.
2.Train directly with other recruits at the daily Orientation sessions (11am and 3pm).
3.For more info, go to www.prototype161.com/pax

Cruel 2B Kind

From 1:30 to 3:00, on both Saturday and Sunday, players can kill each other with kindness in Cruel 2B Kind, a game of benevolent assassination. The game will be played in the area immediately around the convention center, so if you're coming to PAX, you're already in the right place to play!

At the beginning of the game, you are assigned three secret weapons that appear to be random acts of kindness. However these seemingly benevolent gestures are deadly maneuvers that will bring your competitors to their knees. Some players will be slain by a serenade. Others will be killed by a compliment. You and your partner might be taken down by an innocent group cheer.

Not sure you're cruel enough to play as an assassin? Don't worry - you can still experience killer kindness. Just show up in the game site at the right time. You can hang out, watch the game, and play along as an "innocent bystander"!

You can sign up to play on the official Cruel 2B Kind sign up page, or at the Indiecade booth (462) at PAX! You'll get further instructions after signing up. At least one person on each team will need a working cell phone.

Complete game rules are available at http://www.cruelgame.com/games/

Empireville

Empireville is an idyllic town in America, and it needs your help. In order to protect themselves from big box retail and cookie cutter tourism, they've opened their main street up to a stock market. To get America invested in protecting the Empireville way of life, Empireville is getting America invested in Empireville.

All you need to buy and sell stock in any of Empireville's fine establishments is a cell phone, and a dial tone. No special software, no special handset, just a cell phone. You'll have to rely on messages from Empireville towns people to give you the edge you need to stay on top.

When you're ready to become a small town stock mogul, just call 206-607-8073.

Empireville will be running all during the PAX conference.

Urban Bingo

A scavenger hunt version of Bingo, play cards would be handed out at the IndieCade booth and play would occur during the whole convention.
