Perhaps your Cablevision is. New York's sucks balls, they're always randomly disconnecting internet for no good reason. That's why I sometimes cannot join Sessions in Progress in Halo or mysteriously vanish; NY Cablevision is shoddy as hell.

Well, my Live started working again when I switched over to CC, but as it's been said, it's pretty bad at the time being. Hopefully they release a patch soon.

but TX PAX (PAX: Dirty Souf Edition) would held in Houston. Outside. In June. All the electronics would short out from the humidity and then melt. People would die of heatstroke. It'd be great.

I think it'd be cool if it were set in High Charity. Other than a few vistas in Halo 3, you never got to really see the cityscape below or beyond the Sanctum of the Hierarchs; everything in Halo 2 was a big texture blur and fog.
