Move fast, take down brutes with the Plasma Pistol + BR combo whenever possible. Also, assasinate sleeping grunts for more points, and always try to headshot with kills.
Should come in around 25,000 easy. Remember that if you move fast enough you get a 3x multiplier and so on.
Honestly the easier ones to get with the same combination of skulls is Ark and Covenant, this is mostly due to the fact that there is just a shitton of enemies on there. I remember one campaign run we got two people with 50k points on that. We might have had a skull or two more, but it'd give you 6,000 points just for killing brutes inside of prowlers near the end.
I tried it earlier with Fog and Famine, but Famine left me with virtually nothing to take out the long range snipers. I actually at one point on this run through had both the sniper and the beam rifle. BAD ASS.

You should at least throw Thunderstorm on. Fog and Thunderstorm are both basically 'free' multipliers. Especially on flood levels, where Thunderstorm doesn't affect the enemies at all.
Can you do the meta game achievements with team scoring turned on?
That'd be so much easier.
It'll work either way, but it still needs you to get 15,000 individual points. There's pretty much no point to Team Scoring unless you're going for a high score on High Speed Halo.

Hey, blame Bungie for all the random deaths, not me. I had zero control over most of those random things like flipping over for no reason, shrapnel falling from the heavens only to squash me to death despite full shields, and that stupid checkpoint that spawned me in midair on a jump. Theres no damn good reason why I should get blamed for stuff that's out of my control.
Honestly, sometimes you guys get too angry at the game. It's supposed to be a means to relax oneself and kill some dudes, not act like the universe is gonna end if you don't win.

The end run takes a few times to really get down. It certainly does have some "fuck you" parts that can really screw you over. Remeber that time lookfree with the worst check point ever?

Well, that's because I was playing for fun. I didn't really care if we succeeded or not, and not just because I already got the achievement; some of the stuff that transpires is funny, like Primus flying off into the ether from that piece of shrapnel. Sure, sometimes the game can prove annoying in some regards, but that's no reason to get entirely pissed off at it.
Besides, I've had a rough time dealing with this psycho who's been bugging my family lately. Court Order of Protections apparently only affect one person, not everyone in a household, and the hospitals and police force don't give a damn to get him help/put behind bars. This whole thing started since my parents put insurance on his truck solely because he destroyed his previous car while driving drunk; his way of showing thanks is three months of threats, curses, and harassment. Dying funnily in Halo is the least of my concerns, especially since my parents took off for the weekend to visit my sister at college. There are at least 10 messages on our machine from him cursing us out which we have presented to the police, yet this wacko still runs free.
In theory, the fastest 4 player run on that level (with a lot of deaths, but when I watched the video none of the deaths were required to get the time) is 12 minutes.

Nope, the main site doesn't allow any skulls in speedruns.
I've been thinking about this run, then planning the run, then looking at everything to DO the run... and finally, doing the thing by myself to see how it would work in practice.
Essentially, forget you're playing Halo and think you're playing X-Com:
Look at your squad of four, and their loadout - keep everybody together, force the flood spawns then pull back so people with BRs/Carbines can pick off the flood that come in. If you've got someone with a shotgun, have them pick off any leapers.
For Flood forms that have bunched up, heavy weapons like the Rocket Launcher and the Fuel Rod Cannon are going to be applied. For that initial field before you start ascending the tower, stay squaded up, gather whatever grenades you can for the first floor of the tower - the mutation forms are going to be a problem, but mostly you need to worry about the sniper: if someone has a Needler, they're the man of the hour; otherwise use grenades.
Assault forms fall in one stroke to the sword and hammer.
That first half, though, that's the part that will take the least amount of time with the most practice. Its the race at the second half of the level, because you can't start from the midpoint and practice with the Ghost.
Also, how does Iron work in a group? If somebody dies but the other three are alive, does it reboot EVERYBODY back, or does the fourth guy have a chance at respawning. This last point kind of changes everything.
What happened to my halo? I have thrown my controller at the wall atleast four times already. I was killed with a shotgun across the room in one hit while I had full OS, did the shotgun recieve more damage? Also the oddball doesn't like to kill.

The shotgun was dialled up in TU1 but wasn't changed this time around. The ball works fine in my experience in Rumble Pit over the last couple of days. Rather than a complete one-shot kill though it seems to be just over the amount needed to wipe out a shield and health, so if someone has even a small bit of OS they'll survive.
What probably happened was a couple of grenades with the shotgun blast to finish you off, or something. Check the film.

As i said though, all of the deaths in the run were avoidable.
edit: i'm actually suprised there's no Floodgate run in there..
I remeber our run, You died the most initially. The being up top thing DOES NOT WORK. And I think we have the johnson thing figured out now too. I would rather do it without that since its kind of cheating.
I would say punching is allowable as long as you have sufficient shields to do so. But staying in formation is possibly the best one. Cover each other and have 2 forward, and 2 back.
edit: specifically the plans that either party have come up with. I'm fine with it as long as it isn't a sacred cow like Canada's or our Social Security/Education system; completely broken but everyone is afraid to touch it.
Sorry bout ignoring your invite earlier Yorker, I didn't want to leave the game I was in (it was pretty intense with some good people) and by the time it was over you were off playing something else.
Anyway, I'm getting on now, anybody else up for some Halo?
Why do you hate socialised medicine Fyre, do you not believe that health is an inherent right, or that it is less efficient (it's pretty inarguably not and generally exists parallel to private healthcare anyway)?

Fog, Catch, Thunderstorm, Famine, optionally Mythic.

Which is ironic because she creeps me out.

In that part of the level, there is no killing of dudes, there is no relaxing. It's you versus the game.

In single player it makes you restart the level (and doesn't even reset the clock!)
Ouch.
