I really hope you can unlock those black/red guys in the last level.
I have to say, after beating the game a half dozen times, it's super easy now, even the levels I had trouble with before like lava world. I guess I'll have to move on to insane after I've unlocked everything I want to.
man i always get invited to games when i'm in the middle of shit. I was on the last wave or so of the peasant arena this time i beat it though, blocking helps a lot. and the cat. just block by the cat and the guys come get mauled
WOO! Beat the Ice Arena....those guys are bastards. I'm at level 43 with my Orange Knight, and it was still tough. Pretty-much juggling and using Rammy the whole time. That was like fighting off hornets INSIDE their nest. Whew.
I'm going to a gaming party in a couple of weeks, and there's a high risk of castles being crashed. Now, how does this newfangled XBLA work? Can I sign in with my gamertag on his xbox and download it there for four-player crashing?

Yes, you can sign in with your gamertag on his 360, and then proceed to download Castle Crashers.
And then crash some castles.

So that would have been more fun if a) I hadn't lost my 2 levels of progress between every disconnect, while my party retained theirs and b) you could go to the map.
Theories:
Cross-continent play = bad. Interstate play = good. (couldn't play more than a level with SkulloMania but played for 3-4 hours last night with no problem with someone two towns over).
Hosting = bad (I've always been host when I lost progress).
Beat the game with green knight, I think I went the hardest possible route. I went all damage first, then all agility. I ended up with like 4 points in defense at the end. Basically I couldn't take any hits, I ended up arching my way through the last few levels. The only reason I beat the flying devil bat's minions was I got thrown by a big enemy , ran out of life, but at the same time killed something and levelled back to full

Oh Dear God Yes.
I've tried several times with my level 32-34 Orange knight, but each time I get my ass handed to me in the 8-9th wave. Guess I'm going to have to level him up a bit more
Or is it easier with another character? With my magic stat all the way up and defense 2/3, I can take a lot of hits, and stay airborne dealing damage almost the entire time.....but it's still not enough
I don't know what the hell is going on with this connection mumbo jumbo but I think playing with my yankee cousins is off the menu. Going to have to find some limeys to play with.
To anyone questioning the agility builds, I just waltzed thru the lava stage at level 18. Woulda bee at level 17, but I died on the boss when he had like 2 hits left because I got hit by a boulder, fell into the fire breath, and got bounced into the path of the same boulder for a total of like 115 damage.
Also, arrows fly downwards when your fighting the lava starge boss making him kinda difficult with no strength.

I beat it easily with the orange knight hiding in the corner with my shield up, spamming rt+y, and with hawkster, who brings you fruit from dead enemies. No problem.
Anyone notice how some things (mattresses and the copy machines in Highrise) are totally impenetrable? A steel wall, yeah that makes sense, but bullets should obliterate copy machines.
I don't know about you, but I always buy a bullet proof printer. Its a lot more expensive, but I think the advantages are apparent.
I was trying to figure out how to do this on my own but...
On the carriage chase, after crashing the wedding... How do you kill the giant "cat"? Or dodge his laser eyes?
It's a giant cat with laser eyes! It's just not fair!
Edit: Nevermind, just figured how.
I am playing with the gray knight and for some reason couldn't do magic on it... Had to go melee.

Your shield can block it. And pressing Y every couple of midair hits will boost you up.

As an all-magic red knight, I'm being dominated by a few of the bosses.
Also, any game in which I attempt to join suffers from connectivity issues.
