I use Grey Knight, and in Parade I took him down with one huge melee combo. It's all about the air juggling.

On the carriage chase, after crashing the wedding... How do you kill the giant "cat"? Or dodge his laser eyes?
It's a giant cat with laser eyes! It's just not fair!

Your shield can block it. And pressing Y every couple of midair hits will boost you up.

Also, if you do any damage at all with the Bow, it resets his eye laser counter.

Anyone notice how some things (mattresses and the copy machines in Highrise) are totally impenetrable? A steel wall, yeah that makes sense, but bullets should obliterate copy machines.

I don't know about you, but I always buy a bullet proof printer. Its a lot more expensive, but I think the advantages are apparent.

For boss battles: there is a block button and it does block alot of attacks ,this goes also for regular enemy attacks.(Seen some people try to outrun attacks when they simply need to just block).

Arenas: all except thief arena are easy if you pick a upper or lower corner & block until they come to you, then use magic or air juggles. If there is a cat it's even easier, some go behind the cat & don't back out until you do. Ram-pet for knockdowns and eagle for food from dead enemies make it easier also.

Here's a fun build. Go all magic & agility. don't spend any point on the other stats before they are both maxed then go strength and lastly go endurance. as a bonus don't grind any of the previous levels.
I'm doing this on the blue guy, makes the game a bit harder but it makes bossfights awesome!

fuck, the peasant arena is a bitch for my lvl 23 orange knight. Even though I have alot of strength, defense and magic points they do double my damage and I'm stuck wasting potions because for some reason my juggling isn't working.

I found a nice way to get cash quicker than usual.
Basically, in the level where you fight the toolbox painter, just kill him get the food to heal to 100% and get the chest, then just walk out the door you came in and go back in to rinse and repeat till you got all you want. You can get like 300-500 gold a pop.

He is pretty easy, I take him out with my grey knight's arrow shower. Just spam it on him as he paints and you can almost take a quarter of his life each time he comes down.

WOO! Beat the Ice Arena....those guys are bastards. I'm at level 43 with my Orange Knight, and it was still tough. Pretty-much juggling and using Rammy the whole time. That was like fighting off hornets INSIDE their nest. Whew.
    Oh Dear God Yes.

I've tried several times with my level 32-34 Orange knight, but each time I get my ass handed to me in the 8-9th wave. Guess I'm going to have to level him up a bit more

Or is it easier with another character? With my magic stat all the way up and defense 2/3, I can take a lot of hits, and stay airborne dealing damage almost the entire time.....but it's still not enough D:

I beat it easily with the orange knight hiding in the corner with my shield up, spamming rt+y, and with hawkster, who brings you fruit from dead enemies. No problem.

Thanks for that. Hawkster made turned that arena from a nightmare to a cakewalk. Seriously, he's got to be one of the best animal orbs in the game by far....glad I looked up how to find him :)

That was fun, sucks that it kept dropping though. I just went back to local and grabbed a bunch of weapons and animals that I missed.

One inside joke thing that I didn't see anyone else mention - In the painter bunny fight
one of the things he paints is an upright carrot with a clock face on it, which is a reference to the Clock Crew on Newgrounds. Here's a link to the Newgrounds page for it: http://www.newgrounds.com/collection/clockcrew

Does the dog (Pazzo I think) also find stuff that isn't marked by an X? He sniffs out a spot in the place where you buy him that isn't marked by an X and it gives you a weapon. Are there more of those spots throughout the game?

The Industrial knight/Fencer's rt+y is insane against bosses. Bosses die in literally a couple seconds.

I really hope it's possible to unlock the mage knights in the last level (it probably is since I saw a screenshot with one in the character select, and if they weren't, they'd be the ONLY generic humanoid you can't get), and I hope it isn't something ridiculous like "beat the game with every character" (although that will probably be reserved for the king or something).

We had some friends over and my wife played here lvl 9 Orange while the rest of us used new levels 1. It certainly felt more challenging than normal for us and we died many times, especially when we just decided to skip the river part and move on.

P.S. Why the hell can't I beat the peasant arena? Are these guys more resistant to green magic or something? Even trying to melee I'm getting my shit handed to me, though. Of course melee is at about half power anyway.
