Which unlockable characters have unique magic attacks? As in not the Arrows and Bombs that most seem to be using.
The industrial knight and fencer (from the blue knight) have a unique razor attack that rapes bosses but is terrible against regular enemies. The ninja has that weird decoy move, but I haven't used it. The saracen and white bear have the whirlwind. The bee keeper has a killer bee attack although it's like the arrows I think. Bombs, arrows, and generic magic attacks that are like one of the knight's attacks are most of the rest. The fire demon, skeleton, brute and forest knight all have attacks which seem to be similar to the orange knight's attacks. The ice thief has the blue knight's rt+y.
Red max magic attack is awe-inspiring. Think Force Lightning. Blue is so-so, green and orange are pretty good with DoTs.
Yeah, red is definitely the game's easy mode. The magic trivializes almost everything.
The thing with blue is you can freeze most non-bosses, and a few bosses even. If you're getting swamped just iceblock em until you take care of the rest.
Just FYI guys I'm finally back at my own house. I was at a buddy's house on vacation for the past nine days, so it was hard for me to crash some mother fuckin' castles with you guys.
But now... Oh no wait, I have to go OUT OF TOWN AGAIN for another 3 days for some stupid wedding. Ugh.
But rest assured I will be owning bishes with my red minion soon, and I want you guys to join in!

I have a 41 Blue Knight. I always end up breaking ice before it has a chance to really stun them, or it doesn't last long enough anyway. I get owned on Peasant Arena
I've been enjoying this game enough, but unfortunately I've been playing it by myself except for today when I got some 3 player action which was pretty cool. Unfortunately I don't know if the progress will carry over. I copied Castle Crashers and my gamer profile on to my memory card and played on that today. It didn't seem to have any of my former progress on it (Like a leveled up green guy), so I wonder if my new stats will carry over when I copy the game back to my HDD.
Also while I love The Behemoth, I am a little wary of getting invested in this game before a patch. I bought Alien Hominid when it came out, got to Area 51 at which point a glitch that caused to game to delete my file and then never save again got me, and I had to wait a good couple of months for a patch. At which point I've kind of lost the drive to beat the game.
The first two times I beat the final boss I was playing with friends and both times they grabbed his sword before I could. I then decided to do it solo just so I could get the sword. I got it. There was much rejoicing.

When I play with my friends we just swap it out with everyone, so everyone can get it.
With that one, since there's no time, we just went to the Industrial Castle since there's a weapon right outside to swap it around

Unfortunately it sounds like "Keep trying!" is the best advice so far. I've noticed that if there's any lag or skipping whatsoever the chance of dropping eventually is about 100%. If you don't notice any lag then you should be able to play for a while. But there's no guarantees.
rather than reading through 26 pages looking for answers to my questions that have no doubt already been asked, I will ask for some tips here.
Are the unlockable characters all ass? all I have so far is the gray knight and the ones from the first two arenas, and all three of them use essentially the same magic attack, and it sucks. I don't know if they get decent at higher levels or what.
is there a 'best' stat distribution to go for as you level? I'm in my teens on my green knight, and I dumped everything into magic first off. so my magic is maxed. now i"m working on defense.
is there a character whose magic is the most OP? I like the green knight's poison DoT (though I hate the way it obscures half my screen at max level). also, is magic the only difference between characters?

Freezing enemies can be a life saver.
