Saw Avenue Q earlier this year, I went into it knowing very little about it other than one of the songs I had heard a few months prior. I don't think I had ever laughed that hard in a theater.
there is not one video of that song There Are Worse Things I Could Do that isn't some dumb drama-slut mugging at the fucking camera and pretending to be talented.

I was the dentist in our high schools performance of little shop. I can't sing for shit. I got the part because they wanted someone who could pull off "mentally disturbed and arrogant" so i went to the audition with a taxidermied cat and proceeded to beat the shit out of it and rip it apart while calmingly talking about how useless my girlfriend was. Hooray for props!

"Women are irrational, that's all there is to that! Their heads are full of cotton, hay, and rags. They're nothing but exasperating, irritating, vacillating, calculating, agitating, maddening and infuriating hags!"
also, if you haven't seen it, you'll suddenly get about 4 refrences in any given MST3k
I HATE HATE HATE Rent. Pretty much every song in it is awful.
However, My Fair Lady is great. I saw it in Stratford with Colm Feore and he was incredible. Also, West Side Story is incredible. Bernstein's music is so fucking amazing.

...AND NORM is playing the role John Travolta played in the musical Hairspray. NORM! This is fantastic.
The best version of Greese is by Less Tha(e?)n Jake.
