    Saw Avenue Q earlier this year, I went into it knowing very little about it other than one of the songs I had heard a few months prior. I don't think I had ever laughed that hard in a theater.

    The only stage musical I've seen live is Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and it was great. My church youth group went.

    for some reason they wanted to play it on Good Morning America I think it was, or some other network television production

    I was the dentist in our high schools performance of little shop. I can't sing for shit. I got the part because they wanted someone who could pull off "mentally disturbed and arrogant" so i went to the audition with a taxidermied cat and proceeded to beat the shit out of it and rip it apart while calmingly talking about how useless my girlfriend was.     I HATE HATE HATE Rent. Pretty much every song in it is awful.

    However, My Fair Lady is great. I saw it in Stratford with Colm Feore and he was incredible. Also, West Side Story is incredible. Bernstein's music is so fucking amazing.

    Seven Brides for Seven Brothers kicks ass, definitely one of my favorites, along with Grease, RENT, 1776, Wicked and Chicago.

    Edit: West Side Story rocks too.
