Hi all,

I managed to get an hour with Jerry and Mike earlier this month to talk about the run-up to PAX, along with a lot of bits that other outlets around here haven't dug up. Check it out at my new games-and-science site based out of Seattle:

    Your coverage of PAX last year was great. Do you have a link to it that doesn't involve searching The Stranger website?

    I was driving some out-of-towner friends around, and I kept complaining about being blinded. They responded with "You see, where we come from, people tend to wear Sunglasses." I retorted with a simple "You people tend to have sun."

    Wow. I didnt realize how long it had been since I read The Stranger regularly since I had no idea there was a gaming column. Thanks for the link. I liked what I read (omg intelligent discourse!), and will add you to my favorites.

    Yeah, they better work double-time to defend those Omegathon game choices.

    My prediction: Your mom wins the "Gaming Olympics".

    Not a big fan of Halo 3, but that was pretty much as close to the Wizard as that's going to get, none of this "Let's play Tetris" 1v1 BS.

    Or, you could have Asssassin's Creed, because that's a great game.

    Wow, I never thought the Halo 3 round caused any controversy. I must've missed that. It was a different direction, but why the hell not? Though I'm not a fan of Halo, I thought it was neat for everyone to get a preview of an unreleased game. And it's an interesting test of gaming skill, a sub-skill if you will, to see how people perform in games they've never seen/touched before.

    yeah we all found out those two suck at halo.
