Any suggestions? I'm thinking something fast and annoying with spongeability, a sleep and paralysis move.

Well, as far as durable, fast sleep AND paralysis inducers go,there aren't that many.

You could try Hypnosis+Will-O-Wisp Ninetales for major cool points. He's also much faster than Butterfree, and takes special hits pretty well.

I could go for a fight I suppose. Anyone?

Now seems like a good time to make yourself a Rotom in anticipation of all those new forms it'll have in Platinum.
If Rotom gets a really defensive form thats probably the form my Rotom will be taking.

Edit- Jumpluff is a pretty good suggestion actually.

Ninetales > Rotom, though Rotom's typing is better. Faster, and sleep/burn is better than para/burn imo.

Actually, I -have- a Ninetales trained up already, but it's bizarre. Sorta like a special attacking Bulkydos.

I wasn't comparing Rotom to anything, just saying you should prepare yourself for Platinum. One of those forms has to be pretty good, right? Maybe better than Ninetails (which shouldn't be very hard)

Well, considering I've got a Jumpluff!

Mine's got Sleep Powder, Leech Seed, U-Turn, and Encore. Switch it in on an Earthquake, use Encore, then Leech Seed, then Sleep Powder. The other guy will switch a lot but you've got enough bullshit on your side to make that not so problematic. I've also seen it recommended that you replace U-Turn with Substitute, but I'm personally not so big on using a Poke that can't attack at all, even if the attack is kinda measly.
