Does anyone know when you can actually buy a domain name if it's supposed to expire next may? Is it the same minute it actually expires, or is there a couple month 'whoops' period for the current owner?
    This way lies pain.

Yeah, I'm not going to spend hundreds on domain grabbers as it doesn't bug me if I don't get it. I highly doubt other people are going to be pushing hammer and tong to get the thing, and if they are then, meh. I'll have wasted maybe $20. Thanks for letting me know it's 75 days after what WHOIS said, though.

Environmentalists need to create a more coherent thesis for why transmission cables destroy land than 'the land is different.' Is there any real basis for their objection aside from the facts things would look different? Is the latent electromagnetic radiation from high-tension cables, and the towers, disruptive to wildlife?

    They aren't environmentalists, they're idiots.

And I like renewable energy. So long as it doesn't actually screw up the wildlife there in a negative fashion I can't say I really care how it looks.

Deserts themselves are pretty cool places

I'm just pointing this out tangentially to that article which I did not read

Well, it's my last name. And I want to make a portfolio website. Plus just having some storage space and shit on the interwebs that isn't so spread out so I have a backup beyond my external. If I don't get it then I'll just stick with the first name + middle initial + last name.com that's apparently available. I had no idea how any of that stuff works and figured some of you nerds might know.

I recognize that every desert is different and every desert has its own charms, but we're also not changing that entire desert. There will be parts of it that are still it, and there will be parts that acquire a new beauty imbued by the hand of man. Quantifying it requires at least one hand-wave (segmentation and likely also determination of smallest-considered unit), but I'd be comfortable personally saying that we created more new vistas and more new kinds of beauty than we abolished.

In the summer of 2007 this cell phone acted as a tool of Lucifer and plagued my life with countless hours of horrible reception and an ungodly amount of abruptly-lost calls. This has been a long time coming......

Also nuclear. Anyone who calls themselves an environmentalist and opposes nuclear power sucks and should just stay in their tree house.

I also, personally, find previously barren hills and fields lined with windmills quite beautiful.

Also, has anyone taken into consideration that Medo is, in fact, a liar liar pants on fire?

Why should I be sleeping at this hour? Tsk, Gim. Although, I'll probably sleep very well tonight, cause I didn't sleep much last night and was outside most of the time today.

There's something very satisfying about decimating a population with boiling death from the sky.

    Very satisfying.
