    I with Frylock, use Filezilla. A lot of people at work use WinSCP and I have no idea why. I hate it. It breaks on directories with a ton (I'm talking thousands, not something you'll run into frequently, most likely) of files or directories inside it, which I deal with quite often at work.

    WinSCP is nice if you need to connect over SFTP / SSH, which most free clients do NOT support.

    I actually use SecureFX, since I have that need to connect securely, but it isn't free. It is, however, my favorite client by far.

    Yeah, but Filezilla does sftp and doesn't suck like winSCP. I'm sure winSCP has its uses, like, SCP but as use for a standard FTP or SFTP client, I really can't recommend it as I couldn't stand it and found actual usability problems with it.
