Seattle doesn't have a nightlife. Common misconception.
My friends and I were walking around Pike Place at 6 on Thursday and everything was closed but Kells and the original Starbucks! At six. What is with that?

Honestly, even I have no idea. Almost everything closes down in the main areas quite early. You're in a lot of luck if you're able to find anything open passed 10pm.
I guess us Seattleites are all just lazy bastards. We enjoy our shut eye.

Well I did the Underground Tour on Friday morning and apparently you're all a bunch of dumb bastards too.
don't be a hater. There a a bunch of clubs around the pioneer square, south of pike place.
I know there are a lot of clubs, I live here. Most the clubs down there suck balls. You can't be having too much fun there if you're sitting there posting to the PA forum.

Ah, well, yet another misconception among asshole tourists. We just want them out of the city, really.
I live in downtown Seattle, and I've never gotten why Seattle closes so early. Heck, on Saturday the *malls* close at 6! Which makes even less sense, they are open later on weekdays... Good thing there's Gameworks, they are open til midnight every day, 1 am Friday and Saturdays.

bullshit, I know of plenty of places that stay open later
the Owl & Thistle usually has live music on Wed nights and I'm pretty sure they're open till at least 1:00 am in those cases
just because a few close down early and some of you didn't know where to go or were too lazy to search elsewhere, that doesn't mean there's no nightlife

Really, don't go there.

Go to a cool club like The War Room or Trinity.
Go up to Capital Hill (it's not that far away). Much more to do.

And yet, the CCP party there was the single biggest highlight of the show.

Maybe, but Pioneer Square still sucks ass.

not saying it can't happen, but as long as you don't do anything stupid you should be fine
