So, who likes GURPS?

I know I sure love that Generic Universal Role Playing System, and from previous topics on the auld forum I know other people do. I hereby claim this thread as general GURPS Discussion Central.

To start off, one thing I'm considering doing to Inaugurate The New Forum is running a competition: Create GURPS characters that total out to exactly 0 points, and then judge which one is the funniest, most rule-munchkinry broken, and so forth. Would anyone at all be interested in doing this?

Hey mods, could we have that GURPS thread from last week relocated to here? That would save us some time...

    Second post!

I can't wait to see some zero-point characters... can't really think of anything at the moment, though.

I only played a single session in the middle of a GURPs campaign, but I loved the system.

I, uh, don't have much else to contribute.

I've also been considering running GURPS on here, some indeterminate setting, but the fact that I'm not comfortable enough with the rules (after running one full game and playing well north of a dozen) to run combat real-time on a chatroom puts the damper on that plan.

It's all fun and games until someone wants to play a Felicia II Bioroid and gets pissy when the GM glares at them and says no.

Then blood is spilled and books are ruined.
