Here's some stats from an enforcer who heard someone who heard some who talked to Khoo.

    42k pre-registrations (or was it 43k?)

On saturday they ran out of one day passes. They had 2,500 printed in preparation. they had to set up several print stations and printed them out constantly as people bought them.

Little side story, but I saw a family go to the expo hall at 6pm saturday just after buying their pass. They were sad it was closed. I heard the dad/grandpa say he was going to ask for a refund. I hope they gave him one. That was kinda sad.
    Yes, according to Khoo, it was 42k turnstile pre-reg. So, assuming 100% three-day pre-reg, that's 14k total pre-reg. That's still a hell of a lot.
so, 42k pre-reg, and 2.5k day passes on saturday, which was the most crowded day, so i change my guess to 48k.

58k is over all three days. So anyone with a three day pass was counted three times. I don't think there's a way to know exactly how many people were there at any single point in time. (Unles it was after hours and the building was empty.)

    We'll catch up to'em eventually.

Also I remember hearing someone say on Sunday that they were selling 3-day passes on the last day at single day prices. That probably would mess up the numbers a bit as well.

Offical numbers are 58,500. That is turnstile counting so 3 day passes count as 3 ppl. So basicly 19,500 showed up everyday.

    That's a lot of ppl.

    I don't believe you.

What turnstile? There was no automatic counting device at the show that I am aware of.

The only way to count attendees is by the badges they sold.

The only people who got Sunday passes were the ones who pre-reg'd and had theirs mailed out. 3-day passes double as Sunday passes on Sunday because by then, that's all they're worth and are counted as such. It's not a ploy to inflate the numbers. ;)

Turnstile doesn't refer to the physical counting device in this instance, it's a term that refers to the sum of how many people showed up each day. This is figured by adding Friday + 3-day passes on Friday, Saturday + 3-day passes on Saturday, and Sunday + 3-day passes on Sunday and combining the numbers. I have no idea if the total turnstile includes media, enforcers, VIPs, etc.

Hard to say. We'll be adding the 6th floor next year which will add 100,000 square feet of space.
