This film was on Telly over the weekend, and just in case you haven't seen it I thought I should bring it to your attention.
j/k rite? Everyone's seen Big trouble in little china.
So, there's this guy Jack Burton:
He drives a big rig and talks on his CB radio a lot since Email and Cell phones haven't even been invented yet. He likes to think he's a pretty cool, Indiana Jones type character but he's a really a bit of a dork (lol, 80's slang). He also has his own catchphrase: "it's all in the reflexes". It's not the best catchphrase ever, but do you even have a catchphrase? No you do not, therefore Jack Burton is a pretty rad dude.
Anyway, Jack wins some money off his friend Wang (which is a funny name. If you're
racist)
That's Wang stood next to Jack.
Anyway, Wang and Jack to to the airport to pick up Wang's Girlfriend who (significantly) has Green eyes. She gets kidnapped by the stupidest looking Street gang outside of 'The Warriors' and a whole host of adventure and frolics ensues.
This badass dude right here:
Is Lo Pan. As well as never needing a Maglight, Lo Pan is like, 2000 years old and cursed to walk the earth for ever (or some shit) unless he marries
a green eyed girl.
He's bezzy mates with these guys:
Who have some pretty rocking headgear and can do things like this:
FATALITY
Also appearing in this film is this guy:
He's a tour bus driver who can also do the lightning thing, but he just uses it to scare police men and impress the ladies.
Speaking of the ladies, there are some rather attractive people of the female persuasion appearing in this motion picture:
That's Jack pimping it up with some of the aforementioned ladies. One of whom is Kim Cattrall, now known mostly for a being a rancid old slapper in some TV program for chicks, she was actually pretty hot in the 80's.
So, in conclusion, Big trouble in little China (AKA John Carpenter's Big trouble in little china) is a pretty cool film. As well as not making nearly enough at the box office and pushing John Carpenter back into making independant films, it also gave the under-represented asian acting community a load of parts that would usually go to white action heroes. You guys, you should definitely watch it if you're one of the 3 people in the western world who hasn't seen it yet.

Kung Fu Hustle is cool too. I believe it's getting a sequel.
Your dad sounds quite the classy fellow.
You should shape up and try to be more like your father.
