What icons are you using for My Computer and My Documents? ive seen them somewhere before
Those would be from the Linux icon theme Tango. I love it. Either Tango or some variation has been on my desktop pretty much since it was announced. Some guy made a patcher for Windows XP.
I love these kinds of threads. Here is mine:
Nothing too special about mine. I don't really like Rocket Dock any more (it's just kind of lost it's novelty to me) but I like my homemade Lost icons too much to get rid of it.
no, it's hidden. Only pops up when I move my cursor below the task bar, which is still annoying when I want to maximize a window and move my cursor too far only to open up the recycling bin.

i usually set the task bar to hide and have the dock always be up (and minimizes windows to the dock)
i really like this setup, and it works great (unless you have 80 million windows open)
It came with the Aero variation. I don't notice it that much. It's probably to make the theme's total transparency more apparent, and it succeeds handily.

The 'Planets' Rykros and Motavia are my second 320 gb media drive with Rykros as a 290 gb ext3 partiton and Motavia as a smaller 23.8 gb NTFS partition. The icons for my planets came from my brother whom always indulges me when I ask for a graphics type editing I haven't the patience for.
Wait, ~41k unread items? Or does that number mean something else?
Yep. Subscribed to a bunch of feeds a year ago and then became busy when somebody crashed into my mom on the freeway last December. She amazingly walked away from it though. Still, have to take her to the hospital every now and then for the doctors to see if she's been healing up properly. She finally started going back to work on her own so that's been freeing my time up lately.

It fixes a lot of the problems that I had with Launchy; mainly, controlling what comes up in searches. Took a while to get it set up the way I wanted it. After a bit though, I found it less frustrating than Launchy. Since I don't have my hard drive indexed to save on memory and have a ton of files, having Find and Run Robot not hog my CPU while I'm playing games is awesome.
Protip (not really): You can get rid of the icons on the side by placing your mouse to the left of them until it changes to a two-way arrow. Click and drag it to the right to hide it.
It's been bugging me since the first release and I just found that out yesterday >_<.
Through the teachings of this and the past 2 desktop threads this is what I have come up with. Looks better at full size of 1680 x 1080.
Edit: changed picture.
Does anyone know of a better wireless meter for avedesk?

ClassicT, using SegoeUI font.
Can I get a link to that background?
It's in the PA Wallpaper Dump under the "Vectors & Artworks" section.

Does anyone have the original source for this background?
Or just a clean picture.

Sorry. I'll show myself out the door now.
What is the QuickSilver-like program you're using? Or what is that next to the feedreader...
