it was pretty cool, the duke was pointing it out to the other guys when i was in line. and they asked if it is the keytar that plays Last christmas by Wham, i said yes so they turned it on and i pushed the demo button and they sang last christmas for about 30 seconds.

I was totally standing next to you at the merchandise table when they did that! It was quite possibly the coolest thing ever!!

Got my Guitar Hero DS signed by Teh Wheaton. He's the reason I picked up my first fake guitar, so I thought it was fitting.

I got my pink 360 controller signed by the RvB crew that was there. Burnie said I was a brave man to have that colour.

Never going to use it again. I'll get my blue one signed next year:)

And I got Burnie to sign a shirt I bought.

I'll just repost what I put up on the Sins forums, thanking them for what they did.
    Hey Craig.

I'm a PA forumer and was at PAX this weekend. My coworkers play Sins a good bit but I never did get around to picking it up, despite them talking about playing it all the time. I saw it at the convention and thought "damn, $30, now's the time I guess!"

I picked up a copy on my credit card and tossed it in my swag bag. Later that day while getting lunch, I wasn't paying attention and someone swiped it, all my swag and the brand new game I just purchased. I was feeling pretty stupid at myself for letting that happen.

When my friends and I walked by the Stardock booth later that day, I pointed out "hey, that's the game I bought that got stolen." I decided to check with the people sitting there if there was anything I could or should do, and when the guy asked if I bought it via credit I thought maybe there was. Turns out there wasn't much I could do, but regardless one of the woman said to just give me a new copy! I was a little shocked that they did that, since it was only my word, but like I told them, they made my day. I could stop thinking about letting my shit get stolen and enjoy the rest of PAX.

I put the game in my friends backpack, for "safe-keeping" this time. Turns out it wasn't really all that safe, since someone came up behind him while he was waiting in line himself after all this to buy Galactic Civs 2 and just lifted the fresh box from his backpack!

"Hey, you bought my game," he proceeds to state, and signs the box before returning it to the backpack. So now I have a coincidentally Craig Fraser signed copy to replace my stolen one.

Score one for karma, and thanks Craig and team for what you did.

For the past couple years I've been getting my Wii signed by people at PAX. At the end of this year this is what it looked like:

    wii-1.jpg

That has signings from the RvB cast, Gabe & Tycho, Jen Taylor, Wil Wheaton, and Adam Sessler.

I feel silly... I personally met a bunch of cool people there, and the thought didn't occur to me to get their signatures! At one point standing in line to see if Mike & Jerry wanted a cookie, I thought about getting them to sign my brigade box... but when I actually got there, I completely forgot. =)

I got 4 MtG prints signed and two of the Guild Wars prints signed. I forgot they were doing that on Friday, otherwise I would have taken my CE art books and had Daniel Dociu (who is my artistic idol) sign it, but as it is, I didn't even get one of his prints signed. very sad...

Daniel Dociu is one of the main reasons why I so badly wanted to attend PAX <333333

If you didn't go to the Open AN Panel, they announced that Daniel Dociu won Gold Metal for best concept artist this year, followed by another artist from the AN crew. *tips my hat to them and cheers rampantly*

I got a CE of Precipice signed by Gabe and Tycho, a Halo 3 box by some of the dev team, some concept art sheets by the artists that they were giving out, four of the SupCom posters by Chris Taylor, my 1UP badge thing by Shane, Skip and Luke (missed John and Garnett because I didn't have a pen :() and, uh. Maybe something else? I can't quite remember.

Didn't someone in line at the G&T signing get them to sign their rake?

I had the top of my DS signed by Gabe & Tycho, which turned out to be a mistake. The top gets contact with hands/surfaces all the time and its pretty much all wiped off. Shoulda been signed on the inside on the spaces to either side of the top screen, over the speakers :|

When I needed to get home to deal with family tragedy a week before PAX, a friend drove over 9 hours round-trip to take me there. I needed to get him something from PAX to thank him for his help, but the guy is not only wealthy, but he works in a game store for store credit.. Not much I could get him at PAX that he couldn't get for cheaper at home.

So I skipped Wil Wheaton's panel to stand in line for his last signing time. I was about fifth, and the line got so long that they put an Enforcer at the end of it to stop it from getting longer. I got a copy of Wil's book, and got him to sign it for my friend. It felt good to have a plan come to fruition.

A couple years ago I ended up with a pair of women's panties that say CABOOSE across the ass--RvB merch that didn't seem like such a great idea when they were sober, I guess, and never made it out of prototype. I asked Joel (Caboose) to sign them. He looked at me, looked at them, then wrote, "if you sell these on Ebay, I'll kill you." I've still got them.
