Code Monkeys Panel

Probably one of the biggest highlights of PAX for me was the Code Monkeys Panel, which obviously needed a bigger theater, but my group got in anyway. Pretty hilarious barf bag given out, and an even cooler sticker with the gameavision logo on it.

We watched the Pilot episode which had never been aired before, although I would expect it on a Season 2 DVD. Sad that Adam de la Pena couldn't be there, but when they talked about it I shouted "Call Him!" and they did! Adam obviously couldn't make good on his free DVDs for everybody promise, but it was great just to hear him talk to us. I was pretty much cracking up the entire time. Tony Strickland (Black Steve) was a total badass and really made me smile to hear his voice.

Anybody else get to go to this? I know it was a small theater. I also really enjoyed when Andrew Sipes answered my question to what was with the gameavision logo, to which he made up a bunch of random interpretations.

I got in and it was the best panel at PAX.

I was driving some out-of-towner friends around, and I kept complaining about being blinded. They responded with "You see, where we come from, people tend to wear Sunglasses." I retorted with a simple "You people tend to have sun."

As the guy who moderated it, I agree that it was the best panel at PAX! The Code Monkey guys are the best. Absolutely some of the nicest people you could meet and insanely funny! Being a huge fan of the show, it was really an honor to moderate. Now, PLEASE go to G4TV.com and email your support of the show! It really does help!

I'm happy I made the question about Dana Synder's involvment in the show. That was a good answer.

But yes, it was the only panel I was interested in this year, and it did not disappoint.

I missed the third one. I got the squirrel and the dog.
