[MISC]Get Together of Seattle PAX Go-ers?

Right, so PAX '08 was my first convention or expo, EVER. I had a freaking blast however, and would absolutely love to meet up with some of you guys for a game session/dinner/whatever. I can't go bar hopping with you, as on Saturday of PAX I only turned -twenty-, but I live on Cap. Hill, and I can hop the bus pretty easily. I work retail, so my schedule is pretty wonky usually, but perhaps drop me an e-mail and we can work something out.

meeokbyun@gmail.com

Oh, and Eye Sha is the win. And Cybit, and Legacy. I'm sure more of you rock hard too, but they are the ones I actually hung out with some.

ElectricTurtle and I are cool with that! :) We're in Federal Way (approx. 20 miles out side of Seattle proper), but we're very familiar with Capital Hill since we went to school there. The only thing is that we'll have to find a sitter for our 1 year old if we want a mom-n-dad night out. Either that, or you guys would have to be cool with us bringing a babbling 1 year old with us (which also means no bars). Friday and Saturdays work best.

I have no computer at home = no irc for me. Work computer doesn't have a client, and the one website with the web client, has some fail going on, in regards to my work computer. So.. e-mail. Or phone numbers. I know EyeSha has my number, so does Cybit and Legacy. I won't just post it on here, but if you PM me I can give it to you.

Heh, you beat me to the punch with this thread MeeOk! But thats ok.

I'll decide later to just use this thread, or post up a new one, kinda keep it more semi-organized. No idea yet what to do.

Might be less work for me to just use this thread XD

But yes, if I don't get a thread going, I am down with this. I live in Redmond, so I'd have to bus wherever we decided to meet, but no worries, I'm fine with bus.

Actually, I'll let you guys decide. You want to just have impromptu meet ups like this, or more organized, once a month, type things? Voice your opinions now!

Also, if you vote for option 2 (More organization) and you want to help out, PM me, and I'll start putting a list together of willing helpers.

If someone has an acutal house or apartment with thicker walls i propose an epic party.

    booze, food, rockband, internet.
(I can bring at least 3 of the above)

    So say we all.

I live up in the Lynnwood area. How impromptu are we talking here...day before notice or what?

EDIT: Not offering up my place...my apartment is just too small for a party, much less an epic one. Just curious how much notice we would have before the meetup.

I don't know how old most of you pax types are.... not that it really matters, i'll hang out with people from pretty much any age group.

Same here, paxers are cool in my book regardless of age. I'm likely a bit on the high end though at 31.

The average age at pax was apparently 28 so 31 isn't that old.

I have what we need for an epic party, as long as its like under 7 people. :-p

Depending on the amount of advance notice I get, I might be able to get a friend's house and do it there. We do Wintereenmas there, and that's a freakin blast.

If we want to do a regular gaming thing, I can run D&D fairly competently. Regardless of impromptu or organized (i prefer organized, since I do have a few weekly scheduled events), just let me know and I'll help out how I can. I totally need to dispose of the two bottles of absinthe I have... (now legal in the US! Woot!)

For those without cars <cough MeeOk>, rides can be arranged/ I can pick you up as long as you aren't in the boonies....

My vote is for monthly get-togethers plus an epic party. Unfortunately my apartment is very tiny. I do, however, have a small BBQ that could be transported to an epic party location.

Super villains in general or do we have to be members of the Evil League of Evil?

What's great is that if this happens in the next day or two, me and my friend can join in as we're touring Seattle still after a PAX blowout.
We were the weirdos dressed as Snake and The Boss. We missed out on a party on Sunday and I plan on making up for it ;)

    So here this goes

I have a medium size 1 bed room apartment, I had a kinda big part (like 25 people) so yeah
We have cock band and beer pong

    It's in north Seattle

    Things to keep in mind
    I am underaged
The party usally should end around 130/200am
If done asap it will be mildy messy (ask vt)

So if anyone is down sure why not I can host (or not if no one wants not a big deal)
And if not my house I am totally down for someone else's
    Side note!:
Eye-sha, I accidently called you about half an hour ago, if you read this before that, go ahead and not look at it, wrong number....

Sounds fun! I know people from the Sakura Convention have this monthly get-together thing...it started off small and now it's around 70-100 in attendance. Which is a lot for "small" gatherings.

Pax Conventioners should do it too! Great to chillax with people who share the same interests. Keeps ya doing something until the next convention haha
