I think I can move Boom Blox / Drinking (a sure recipe for a fist fight) to Friday night, so I'm down for BBQ as of Saturday -- assuming I can snag a ride with someone.
So i'm thinking we do a Dixie's BBQ run this weekend, say, mid-arvo on Saturday. Anyone interested?
I've been wanting to meet The Man! I think I have something else on Saturday night, but it's not solidified yet.
Well, i did mean mid-arvo, so we can miss the lunch-time rush, and have a better chance of finding parking (their carpark is tiny, we're probably best off sneakily parking somewhere nearby around the corner for one of the office buildings behind it)

Uh. Yeah. You hang around cuzza as much as we all do, and you don't realize it's the typical Aussie slang for his surname? Cuzza? Macca? Arvo? same principle.
Shock! Turns out Australians hate syllables as much as Americans do
Deviance and debauchery abound, and whipped cream.

as soon as we finished our game of L4D i took a peak at the stream, only to see two baking sheets full of penis-cookies with people singing the Bohemian Rhapsody in the background.

Yes, but, I am accounting for our sidetracking tendencies. :P And assuming I can carpool...
I can probably arrange a few pickups for people. I pick up MeeOK and Oz, take both of them to the HoG, and then we arrange carpooling from there?
Assuming anyone from the Hog's actually going who has extra cars (You people totally should! Dixie's is awesome)
More than a little off topic, but god damn it with all the medical crisis happening to me! I had a random really horrible allergic reaction to something on Tuesday, went to the hospital on Wednesday, and was given three different meds to take over the next five days. But.. I still have itchy uncomfortable hive-things, and now I'm having chest pains. So provide I don't keel over and -die-, I would love to go, and thank you for the pick-up offer, Ashridah!

What time?
By the time I get everyone who's going organised and we sort out transport? Probably 2pm. They're only open until 4:30pm, so we'll need to make sure we give ourselves enough time to eat and whatnot. The lines can get a bit long, but it's worth it.
I'll be headed down tonight after work. In all likelihood I probably won't get out of work until 9:30/10:00PM, so I will be arriving _late_, likely between 1 to 2 am but hopefully earlier.
With any luck there won't be any problems with customs, but you never know. It's a bit of an odd hour to drive down.
the sauce is best described as "excruciating".
If you're more of a flavour junky (the pulled pork is pretty good), then eat some first, then try the sauce.
Hm. Wonder if Nomad's okay to drive as well as me... Nomad?
I can drive if we need an extra car. How many people are coming so far?
couple of people from the hog (not sure how many specifically, twinkie, c-dub and tntrooper at least by the looks of it). Theros, Oz and MeeOK. and possibly someone from the forums i don't think i've met, who'll have to meet us there.
For everyone else, I'll be wearing a "I hate the woods" Left-4-Dead t-shirt and a brown jacket. I'm going to try to whip everyone and make sure we get there at 2pm to make sure we aren't late. Bring cash, there's no ATM, and no card services inside or nearby.
Yelp's info page for people who're meeting us there. Has map, etc. Note that this place is infact an old mechanics garage. It's just around the corner as you're going west on northup, and you can easily miss the entrance if you're not watching.
