So, the next time I will be in Seattle I will not be driving a white whale of a truck anymore... We should do something to celebrate. Like a St. Patrick's day pub crawl.
I've got to disagree. St. Patrick's Day brings out all the people who only drink once or twice a year and they fill the bars to the max. It makes the bars so much less fun and can be very annoying until you've drunk enough not to care. The weekend before is a much better time for a pub crawl.

Weekend after is better imo, since my bday is St. Patties Day :-P

My birthday is the weekend after, so this would simply give my liver one less night of respite during the weekend. The key is just that we make a decision ahead of time for this one.

I was planning on having another poker night while HotSake was in town, and if I cant manage to get it happening at my place, i think we should still do it, just at someone else's place. No idea what to do before then :-(
I like the 21st. That is the weekend that's been discussed before too and it coincides with my birthday as well, which is always drinking time.
4 pm is a pretty early start, but I've got nothing against that.
4PM *is* really early, but it's a Saturday! Also, it's the start of Happy Hour, so I figure it'll give people plenty of time to show up "fashionably late" if they so desire.
I'm down for the 21st happy hour, and I think it's a great idea to do random happy hours and expand our bar horizons!
We actually already do this at work. It's called DIVE (Drinking In Various Establishments) and we do it once a month. I definitely vote we do something similar for meet-ups.
As for the 28th, are we all good for a Poker Night? If there's going to be a ton of people, it might not work though. We should have a large capacity activity as back-up.
eye-shuh, we must introduce this honored tradition among the PAX crowd. I have wanted to do this for a looong time but put it off in favor of all-ages stuff. And I've missed out on a lot of drinking.

The poker night is a great idea. A tournament style with a small cash buy in keeps the money commitment interesting but cheap. My last regular game was $5. We definitely need something on the line as the last game at Az's was fun, but too crazy when the chips are just small plastic projectiles.

Let the trend begin!
Also, I'd love to be in on the poker gaming!
YES. It shall be done. I vote a new happy hour once a month. It will be EPIC.
And the underage kids will just have one more thing to look forward to when they make the big bday.
Ah...Twitter votes were pretty unanimous for Family Fun. HOWEVER, Nomad suggested a Poker Night afterward, which we might be able to have at S7arbuck's house.
hey turns out poker chips are pretty cheap, maybe i'll buy some!
We do have poker chips. But when you play with no buy in it made it less fun. Everyone just went all in for everything.
Yet some how still managed to last over 2 hours. That was a crazy game.
I'll also second BigRed's curmudgeonly about Twitter, but if 11 comes around and I'm not doing anything else, I'll certainly come by for poker and drinking. I've also got some poker chips, but they are the cheap plastic kind.

The 21st I have a St. Patrick themed party to attend...
And the 28th there is another party, but it doesn't start until later. I would be totally down for some family fun center earlier though! And I have a couple poker sets I could lend out for payment on my inactivity. They're nothing special, but they're metal cased matching poker sets.

Well most everyone else has weekends off so....

St. Patrick's Day is the day I came to the USA so many years ago. ^_^
Saturday March 28th. Somebody think of something fun. It can be a HotSake themed meet-up.
Sounds good. I vote for Happy Hour for or in addition to this event.
In fact, I think we should start up a series of happy hours around Seattle. A bar-exploring extravaganza, if you will.
In fact, I think we should all go to the Triple Door at 4PM on March 21st.

We should all go to the new Hard Rock Cafe when it opens too, it just wont be open until this summer...
But.. ;_; Awwwu I can't go if you go bar hopping.
you can come when you're older.

Will make Meta an admin when she says attending.

(A) Have a Poker Night
(B) Go to Family Fun Center
as long as someone has a good clay chip set anyway...

5$ in quarters to buy in. Starts when people get back from Fam Fun, so we'll say 11pm-ish.
PM me or S7arbuck for the address.
EDIT: Might move time of family fun up to accommodate an earlier start time for poker night
IN QUARTERS?!?!!? Someone buy some poker chips, I have to do laundry this month.
Also, oh BigRed you're so curmudgeonly! at least come drink with us! it won't suck because it will be cheap.
Except im usually well started by 11 :P
Hopefully HAETHAUS comes into existance this summer so theres a party house again....
