So, I'm a little late on this one, but I wanted to thank everyone who had a part in PAX, from PA, to the Enforcers and all the way to the attendees. I was overwhelmed at the gargantuan-ness of this event and it left me glowing and aching.
I want to say a huge thank-you to the enforcers and any attendees who picked up any lost items and brought them to the help desk. I lost my phone on Saturday and was surprised to see it at the help desk not long after. My boyfriend also lost his camera and retrieved it there. It was incredible how quickly our possessions were returned to us. Neither of us were from Seattle and didn't look forward to having dishing out for something that important to us. SmartPhones and Camera's don't go very cheap.
I also want to thank the guys in the Soul Calibur tournament. Although I had my ass handed to my during the first round, I met some really incredibly kind people in my pool (Pool 13!!!) and was complimented by my competitor who played a really great game. The event was also ran pretty smoothly and there was some wicked-fierce competiton. I didn't stand a chance but it gives me a look at what I have to face next year!
To the IRCers at the midnight Dick's gathering - it was so nice to meet you guys. Sorry I didn't have any maple schnapps. You all left a really good impression on me and I'll for sure be bringing buttons next year if the opportunity presents itself once again. I'll also bring smarties. Maybe.
