The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
I recently stumbled upon the first trade of this series, and I'm kicking myself for not getting it before. Marvel's version of Sliders/Quantum Leap style action is pretty fucking awesome, if you can get past the sub-par art in the first story arc.
[spoiler:d770c0feca]Was the Logan from DoFP that got killed THE DoFP Wolverine, or just one from a similar reality like the Trial of the Phoenix Wolverine in the second story arc?[/spoiler:d770c0feca]

The latter. I don't think any of the Wolverines were from 616.

At least, I think not.
They haven't traveled through time from the crystal palace that I know of, they just say that time progresses different in different realities to account for having been in different time periods before, so I'd have to assume they are all different reality Wolverines.
Also, Exiles is fantastic, such a great vehicle for Blink to stick around for so long in.
I have to say that World Tour's ending was bullshit.
In terms of what happened to Morph.
It was a "Duh duh duh da duh duh...Wha?" ending.
[spoiler:421b09f304]In my opinon,Morph's body should be a "prison" for Proteus, and the Personalities of Mimic, Morph, Hulk 2099, and Justice acting as "guards." At any given time, any of those personalities could assert themselves in Morph's body. [/spoiler:421b09f304]
I'm not really digging the current line up. PP is more of a bitch than Namora, and Longshot's powers are so inconsistent. One issue, he's unstoppable. The next, he's knocked on his ass in the first minute of the fight. Sabretooth just seems like a pallette swap for the 616 Wolverine, and Spidey 2099 is just kind of hanging out. I'd love to see Mimic back (maybe drop him in 616) or even Thunderbird for that matter.

Yea, I have to agree with you there, the way that one issue near the end started I knew something was up.
That kind of leads into something I like about Exiles though, they've made it completely obvious at this point that anything can happen to any character. Really the only character that seems untouchable from getting completely fucked over, other then emotionally, is Blink.
I do agree that Zarda needs to go, but I like the lineup otherwise.
I do miss Mimic, though. Cal and Clarice were the heart of the book, and while I understand that her and Creed should have the same function now, except in a father/daughter way, it falls flat for me.
I stopped reading it after the Time Breaker arc... was this a mistake?

Exiles has taught me one thing: no matter what universe you're in, unless it's 616 or 2099, Peter Parker is batshit loco.
You know what I hated? When they introduced The Spider from Weapon X. One of the first things he says is when he's talking about how horrible it was to have to kill the Morlocks, how they deserved better than that.
...and by the end of the issue he's a bloodthirsty sociopath. And he just gets worse as the series goes on.
I follow console news because it's fun, like tracking the rivalries in what was once called the World Wrestling Federation. There are larger than life characters. There are signature techniques.
It started great and has gotten exponentially worse.
true.

Wait, so Judd [spoiler:8dd1c69f36] killed the gay character he created when he was leaving the book, just like Kirkman recently did with Freedom Ring or whatever? [/spoiler:8dd1c69f36] Does that mean Judd hates gay people?
Also, I'm really enjoying Tony Bedard's work on the book. It's got its ups and downs, but I reread the early stuff recently, and really preferred Bedard's work. The december solicits sound really interesting too.
Of course, Chuck Austen's run was terrible, with a crossover to the main X-book to fight a random villain of his own design, and Chris Claremont is slated to take over if he ever comes back, at which point I'll stop reading, but currently it's pretty darn good. Also, this week they were eating at the House of Mmmmmmmmm. That's pretty awesome.
I think you might have taken me seriously, when I was intending to sarcastically point out similarities between that situation, which I don't recall anyone saying anything about, and the recent accusations against Robert Kirkman over a similar situation, which I find just as ridiculous as you seem to.

Fair enough.

I honestly liked everything up to the World Tour, with the exception of "Monster World." Hopefully, the writers can bring it back around now that "Snikt-a-Rama" is over.
1. Gambit (Weapon X version)
2. The Vision (Weapon X version)
3. Zarda (Supreme Power)
4. Havok (AoA)
5. Super Skrull Rogue (Nocturne's timeline)
6. The Spider (Weapon X version)
In the just announced Exiles Annual #1, the current team must fight an alternate reality version of Blink, Mimic, Nocturne, Morph, Thunderbird and Magnus!
Looking at that cover
[spoiler:1ebb9ead08]It shows everyone's bodies except for Zarda, whose helmet is lying there....could she be killed in the battle?[/spoiler:1ebb9ead08]
Why haven't the Exiles gone to the Ultimate universe yet?
Maybe it's too close to a Ultimate/616 crossover for Marvel's liking? I remember reading a quote somewhere saying that a U/616 crossover would be the last comic that Marvel ever prints. :P
There IS supposed to be an Ultimate/Supreme Power crossover in the works, written by J. Michael Straczynski.

I like Cytorak's idea for Morph.

...I think that was Winick, too.

true.
Exiles #1-37 -- Judd Winick
Exiles #38-40 -- Chuck Austen
Exiles #41-42 -- Jim Calafiore
Exiles #43-45 -- Chuck Austen
Exiles #46-Present -- Tony Bedard
Just so you have some frame of reference:

...no, really.
My picks:

Who leads your dream team of reality-savers?
1. Blink (AoA)
2. Magik--(Exiles version)
3. Skullfire (2099)
4. Morph (Exiles version)
5. Omerta (616)
6. Dark Claw (Amalgam!)
Exiles
1. Gambit (Weapon X version)
2. The Vision (Weapon X version)
3. Zarda (Supreme Power)
4. Havok (AoA)
5. Super Skrull Rogue (Nocturne's timeline)
6. The Spider (Weapon X version)
Could be Nazis, I guess.
Why haven't the Exiles gone to the Ultimate universe yet?

Unfortunately, no. She is from the old Squadron Supreme, not the current one by J. Michael Straczynski.
